A beautiful song about my Grandpa Nicholson. I was always so annoyed with my Dad's yodelling growing up. But now it's a comforting sound. Such a wonderful tribute.
I went to high school with Alan Moberg in Penticton, BC. He was the nicest guy. The senior students were allowed to choose who would give the commencement speech. Alan got elected, unexpected because he was quiet and not a typical "popular" kid. Turns out we all thought of him as "our" good friend.
The principal said Alan was short a few credits so he would not grad with the rest of us. There was a total revolt -- darn near a riot. Alan gave the commencement speech
Thanks so very much for this fantastic tribute to my Uncle Phil. This brings back so many great memories from my childhood with my dad on harmonica and Uncle Phil on guitar.
This is a wonderful tribute to Red, who I knew from the time I was born.
