@House6409 the VM2 is certainly a more versatile holster and would probably be better suited to a heavier gun such as a 1911, Uzi, or AR15 :). Seriously, the larger spacing between loops should help stability and comfort a lot. The option of being able to tuck in your shirt is certainly a selling point but i haven't tucked in a shirt since like 6th grade :) VM2 certainly gives you more options. no doubt about that.
hello sir,i need advice I just bought a pt 917 and i need holster that will fit to my pt 917,the problem is i dont know what holster will fit.pls help need info
I have that same light you have there. It's not bad for a small flashlight, but there is no way I would put it on any of my guns. It just isn't made to be a weapon light. Just my opinion.
Have you ever done any research on comp-tac minotaur? I looked for about 3 weeks to decide on Comp-Tac. It is so comfortable I don't even realize that I am carrying. I've bought some other cheap holsters (more like wasted my money) but learned my lesson.
I thought your Taurus videos were great, and I think this one is outstanding as well. I'm looking into getting a Remington 870 and was trying to find tactical light options that would be less than a hundred dollar Streamlight. And like you say, that flashlight is a great all-around use light. Once again, great job. Keep up the good work.
Great video review on the Milt Sparks Summer Special. I just bought a Milt Sparks Vm-2 for my Sig 299. I may post a video review on this holster after I spend some wear time with it and if anyone wants to see a review on it. Let me know. Keep up the great reviews!
okay never mind on the previous question, iv searched a little and reviewed the video and duh. it says in the begining its the Summer Special II, and its NOT made to wear as SOB holster. so sorry for the dumb questions just please disregard. Thanks for the good reviews though, your reviews have helped me to deicide to get a Taurus, and to probably get a Milt Sparks holster as well. Can you show us how low or high it sits in your waistband?
I have a Taurus 24/7 Pro .40 cal S&W. I'm looking to get a good holster. What model holster is that from Milt Sparks. It looks like the Summer Special. Also, where do you wear it? on the side or small of the back?
i love your videos. but i have to say i messed around with some cheep lights and then got a steamlight TLR it is LED and laser the plus side is the laser is able to be moved by set screws so you can aim it to your personal gun hold. it also is a standered mil. spec. rail mount so if the weapon of choice is of good quality the light will fit.
ya, i don't honestly disagree, but i'm disinclined to want to pay what i consider a silly amount of money for a flashlight. Stremlights and Surefires and the like are nice lights but not for the bucks they cost. Bad ROI IMO.
Actually i'm kind of letting the court's decision sink in for a bit. I read the court's full opinion about .02 seconds after it was released. It did a lot for gun rights, but it also made it very possible for some municipalities to make it very difficult on gun owners.
That's the natural next step for anti-gun politicians: making it "too difficult" for the Average Joe to own a firearm. They'll say, 'Sure, you can have as many guns as you'd like in your home but you can't take them off your property, they have to be single shot and fire sub-sonic rounds. Oh, and there'll be a 400% sales tax when you purchase a new one. And 6 month waiting period. And DNA sample and finger prints. And 10,000% sales tax on ammunition. And an arm, a leg, and first born child.'
yep, that's the logical next strategy. It's gonna come and we'll have to take those issues to court as well. Thanks for prodding me. I have a new video i'm uploading right now on the supreme court decision. Nothing earth-shattering, just what I read it as.
How do you think that holster compares with the Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 holster? Looking into getting one or the other.

I know you can put a Flashlight and laser on the Shotgun Tri Rail do you know what else you could (Practical or not) put on it?

For a barrel adapter it say autococker to spyder does that mean a autococker threaded barrel to fit on a spyder or the other way around???

For IWB holsters, look no further than Tucker Gunleather! The most comfortable rig you will ever own. ;-)

also I ordered from brownell's ...same price but avoid the 6 month wait

It's the Summer Special II. I generally wear between 2 and 3 oclock and alternate between IWB and shoulder rig carry depending on wardrobe.

Thanx so much for your continued hard work. I got one of those flashlights from CTD and went back and ordered 4 more...great for the price.
And thanx for my 30 seconds of fame...LOL...I'm assuming you were talking about me in the beginning of the vid.

First off, thanks for clearing the gun in the beginning of the vid. That shuts a lot of people up.
Secondly, I appreciate your thorough reviews of all the products you show. It's good stuff! Especially the 2-in-1 light!
Thirdly: "nothing to talk about"? How about some words about the DC gun ban being overturned?
