  • A Hummer H2/H3 for people who actually want a good car.

  • How are these in the snow? I live in Canada

  • @riverdave7 canada sucks

  • @homeslicery92 hay fuck nutts i bet canada is better than any shit hole that you inbreed fucken dritbag comes from

  • @supermerc911 oh you mean one of the richest areas in the united states? we are sure known for incest, eh? Not to mention our spelling is pretty good (not sure you meant DRITbag)

its raging thundercunts like you that give canada a bad name

  • In my opinion the only two choices most people have for off roading are the FJ and the Wrangler. Land Rovers - Expensive. 4Runners - Less Capable at off roading. XTerra - Less capable. Hummer - Less capable.

So which should you choose? I don't know, who would you trust more, Toyota...? or Chrysler? I think the choice is clear... FJ Cruiser for the win.

  • I never notice that it has three wiper blades until I brought myself one lol

  • I literally don't like japanese cars but this is too awesome. I love the design... I would consider this for my first car. Heo yeah! Lowlolol

  • LOKKS LIKE A CHEEP RIP FROM HUMMER

  • my mate just bought it, it doesnt drive to bad for a Jeep/suv

  • I test road one and couldn't get over the blind spots....really heard to see out of if you're tall

  • I love Toyota trucks. I wish they would fix the visibility issue on this, and give some updates VERY SOON to the new 4Runner. The driving position could use some improvement, and over all quality in materials.

  • i like it cuz it looks awesome and it has 3 windshield whipers lol

  • Just bought mine yesterday... Fun as hell !!!

  • @coandcaiv Harsh words considering the original model BJ (FJ's predecessor) was essentially just an upgraded Willy's Jeep. What the fuck do you think the "J" stands for? Jelly? It was called the "Toyota Jeep," but better known as the BJ, for its type B engine. The US military went to Toyota during the Korean war with the jeep blueprints, and they essentially just copied it with slight improvements. The new FJ is great, but off the road, it still doesn't match the performance of the Wrangler.

  • LOVE FJ!!!!!

  • @nizmo128 me too the back seats arent bad, i would know i got FUCKED there once

  • gay

  • Is this or the wrangler better for off road

  • The street oriented Wrangler Sahara is better off road than the FJ (Fake Jeep) or the Xterra. The Sport S is better than the Sahara, and the Rubicon is the ultimate off road Wrangler; the best off road vehicle you can buy in an American showroom. I'd take a Hummer H3 over the FJ Cruiser.

  • @CoreyCJordan f.u the fj is not a fake jeep, i have tried it against a wrangler, and its better, and in a highway it is a lot faster than the wrangler, stop saying stupid things if you have never drive an fj

  • @ripstikman96 Hogwash... I can take a bone stock Wrangler places you would have to airlift the FJ Snoozer into... It's a nice truck for daily road use, but you would have to spend vast amounts of money on aftermarket hardware to even approach a basic Wrangler JK in off road capability... We don't allow stock FJs or Xterras to go on our Jeep Noobie trail runs, because we spend too much valuable time winching them off of obstacles, or towing them in when they break.

  • @CoreyCJordan Mate you need to pull you head in. A stock wrangler can go where a FJ can? Only the driver can prove a car and where it will go. And for the record, I have been driving a XJ Cherokee for 10 years and have pulled more than my fair sahre of wrangles out of the bog. I think and from what Toyota have been able to do over the years, I think they have a truck that will take on Jeep, both in sales and style.

  • @Matlow63 Lets see, in October of 2010, Toyota sold 1,240 Snoozers. That same month, 8317 Wranglers were purchased. Meanwhile, a redesigned Wrangler will be released in 2012, with the 290 hp Pentastar engine and a six speed automatic. Also, Jeep expects to introduce a scaled down Wrangler-like off road vehicle before 2015 to join the Wrangler on dealer showrooms. Seriously guys, if you want to go where the Jeeps go, you'll need a Jeep or very deep pockets.

  • @ripstikman96 LOLOLOL Wranglers are not about speed... And yes, I've driven several Snoozers, and winched out many more. The FJ is a nice SUV, but without investing a lot of money, that's all it is.

  • @CoreyCJordan So basically you are admitting that the FJ "snoozer" is better in every possible aspect than the wrangler except off road? I think for 95% of people, that is a good compromise

  • wrangler. shorter wheelbase, more clearance and cheaper

  • @TCB1468 this is better the fj can go up to its wheels in water stock and its also a very well built car its a toyota too meaning that it will likely run for a long time and toyota was originally the rivals of land rover meaning their cars are some of the best offroaders

  • OK Thanks

  • @spontastic

What about rust? The Tundra and Tacoma have major frame rust issues. There is an active recall now for rust on Toyota's van. Have there been a lot of rust problems on the FJ?

  • sigh solid axles always win over ifs and irs. look up tough truck challenge or top truck challenge. pount out the ifs vehicles? thats easy none. if there was that tie wearing rich boy would get laughed out of town. you ever hear of toyota solid front end axle swaps? poor boys buying a ifs and wishing they had solid.

  • remind me what suspension trophy trucks have?

  • sure if you look up how many axles are powered by the drive train on a trophy truck. the ifs on those bad boys are aftermarket and there is no turning drive train components within to break in the front. the ifs is there for a smother ride at high speeds. go 4x4ing at high speeds lol

  • This homo lemm05 with his history on this page to..Where talking about today dumbass not WWII. I bet the NEW FJ cruiser wouldnt go up Mt. Fuji like the old classic. The cruisers only thing close to the FJ 40 is the grill the rest is crap. Great for the streets, not for off road.

  • I'm sorry but your also wrong. The "F" does stand for the fuel type, but the first "FJ" was actually called a Toyota Jeep BJ, "B" for diesel and "J" for Jeep. When we went to war with Korea the US asked Toyota make a vehicle using the original Willy specs. Toyota make a longer wheel base with bigger engine. The BJ was the first vehicle to get to stage 6 on Mt. Fuji, the highest any vehicle had ever climbed. After the war Toyota began to market the BJ under Land Cruiser.

  • Dam you are on some great weed, Fuck sell me some. That truck is shit cant see shit NO were near as good as the old fj. Its like the new camaro or mustang. Old styling with new tech. Drop that crap IFS and throw in a dana 44 or 60 or hell a toyota straight axle then post that comment. Ultimate adventures did it and it was then a great truck. This crap is for soccer moms.

  • Broncobuilder.

I own a stock 1980 BJ40 - the electronic 4x4 assist in an FJ will allow these to go further in sand than a quad.

These are really lame, but they can still get places.

  • dude hummer is american. it already is ugly. the fj isn't ugly. its a case of awesome funk. plus, its a reinvention of a well known classic

  • remember dat FJ is based on da classic 60s FJ.Hummer was still new

  • yes man I now! but tha land cuiser is based on the land rover and the willis! but you see tha fj cruiser like a hummer

  • at least FJ dont copy hummer

  • @rivengle, I like the FJ, but for someone to say the FJ looks good, and the Hummer looks ugly, is like the pot calling the kettle ugly. Both look good for what they are.

  • yep!

  • christ my echo could off road where they showed that going threw man its ashame toyota has sliped so low , they use to make wicked offroading vehicles that actualy would go through anything

  • dont forget china :)

  • shhhh Government Motors can hear you!

  • does FJ stand for Fighting Japanese cruiser?

  • i doubt it

  • FJ originally stood for 'foreign jeep' with the original fj25 built just after WWII, called a jeep because it was built for the US occupation forces thats also why the original looks so much like a jeep.

  • woot there's my baby

  • we just got one..same color and loving it !

  • id still prefer my 08 tacoma, they use the same engine anyways, and the tacoma is lighter.

  • (2:10)

Did he say that it weighes 2 TONS?!?

  • yea. wow 4000 lbs

  • you said it Fj rules

  • is there such thing aven american cars use foreign parts and some are even built in foreign countries yes mexico and canada are foriegn and if the car is a jeep its owned by a foriegn auto maker. go figure

  • dont forget china:)

  • this is a really fun car to drive. the visibility is a problem though. one of my friends had to instal a camera in the back so he could see.

  • i am getting one of the toyota fj cant whate

  • FJ rules!
