  • She's not a bitch I would get mad if some random dude came in and dropped eggs around my house

  • IT'D BE REALLY AWKARD IF THAT HAPPENS TO ME IN REAL LIFE XD LOL

  • :) or :( ???

  • I hope all of them die.

  • do they just pick people at random?

  • haha, what a troll. i hate the way how he looked like he just expected her to clean the mess he made xD

  • i love how she's cutting steak and doesn't wash her hands afterwards. E. Coli anyone??? :D

  • omg if that was my phone i would been so PISS lol

  • The way the two get in the house reminds me just a little bit of the break in scene of A clockwork orange

  • i noticed in the trailer the guy who comes in her house is supposed to be crazy but tht blonde hair lady is a witch.

  • When people I don't know are "excessively" polite with me, my antennae go up, and God help them from that moment on. While they're thinking "test, intimidate and subjugate", I'm thinking "kill if necessary, permanently disable at any rate." They're leaving the area educated.

  • @Taiysha2 lol everythin bout this masterpiece is awkward im sure the director wanted it that way, to make the audience uncomfortable

  • @AnalFissure100 : He succeeded admirably. ;])

  • ummm copyright? i wanna know , just an FYI , for my knowledge

  • LOL. I made all the effort of buying the original movie's DVD. Didn't know that this was a shot-for shot film. :P

  • she should of washed her hands after throwing that empty bag away.

  • @hatebreed1025 how does it suck? it'sa shot-for-shot remake of the Austrian version. and the guy re-made his own film for the american audience. however america does screw up some good horror movie remakes for our country. the grudge, shutter, the eye, the ring, need i go on?

  • Maybe it's because I'm watching thos 4 the 1st time today, but this seems really ridiculous

  • I still don't get why people find this so disturbing.

  • The one glaring flaw in this film, and it is in the European version as well, is that the neighbor guy Fred just disappears? We find out that his family was being terrorized first, so why, when it is two adult men and one psycho kid, didn't he do something? Or at least go for help? It is just a REALLY big plot hole for me to deal with.

  • @EzyGlider

    What psycho kid?

  • @roygeebivv Your kidding, right? I am referring to the first 25 seconds of this video (Part 2). Fred and Tim Roth are both just standing there while the psycho kid with the gloves is getting introduced. Why didn't Fred just start wailing on him, explain to Tim Roth what he and his partner had done to him and his family, and then get Tim Roth's help in beating the sh*t out of him? Fred just goes along with it and does nothing, and then vanishes.

  • @EzyGlider Probably Fred's daughter and wife are being held at knifepoint in their house. He might be able to kill the psycho kid together with Tim Roth, but surely he wouldn't see his wife alive. At this point he may think there is another way out of it. But when exactly the neighbors are killed, is never clear (psycho kid's shirt is stainless when he joins Naomi and psycho#2)

  • @roygeebivv what psycho kid??? u serious

  • @roygeebivv Near 0:55. He freaks the crap outta me.

  • @EzyGlider he disappears because they kill him.

  • @EzyGlider i know that if i were one of them i would threat him with killing his wife if he tries anything , which they probably did...

  • @roockowacko : If I were the husband, there would only be one of you left to do any threatening within 1 minute of me arriving at the house. I call it "zero tolerance" for things that look peculiar to my domestic situation. ;])

  • @EzyGlider If they're just neighbors, there's no way Fred would have been able to communicate what was going on without George thinking he was the psycho. They don't know each other well enough, and Paul is too good of an actor.

  • @EzyGlider : The film illustrates the unfortunate reality that for the most part, W.A.S.P. husbands and fathers really are just wimps and drones with no serious perception of life or military attitude concerning their place as protectors and defenders of their households. I'd put one of those golf drivers to good and serious use without hesitation, and never mind the possible legal consequences later.

  • @EzyGlider I would assume that when Paul was with Fred, the other (Peter) was holding the wife/kid hostage at their house which is why he didn't do anything. Same reason Anne doesn't do anything when the other neighbors visit at the dock.

  • @EzyGlider because im sure the other psycho kid was with fred's family, and if michael pitt didnt come back (because lets say fred tried to get tim roth to help him), he would have killed his family if michael pitt didnt come back. not really a plot hole.

  • @EzyGlider

Well it's not such a plot hole - I mean the other psycho was at home with the other guy's family - and Fred was probably well aware how troubled these kids were....so any attempt to struggle could have resulted in his family getting..well into trouble or worse.

  • @EzyGlider

As far as I remember correctly, the kid sees the corpse of Fred lying on the terace when hiding throughout the house and tells mum and dad later on after being caught by one of the "hardey boys"

  • @EzyGlider Clearly his accomplice was holding his wife?

  • @EzyGlider agreed...x

  • @EzyGlider

I know exactly why. Paul probably told Fred that if anything happened to him, Peter would probably hurt Freds family. Fred wouldn't risk trying to overpower Paul.

  • @EzyGlider because the other kid had is wife and daughter and if anything happened he would of killed them. of course they kill them anyway. but no ones what they would do in that situation but even when you were in it. your mind would go to mush, all reason would go out the window.

  • Sham Wow!

  • micheal pitt.. gosh thats a fine beautiful man

  • i think naomi comes off uptight because she is doing the whole acting like she is acting thing (via mulholland dr.). her performance is very different from the original mother, while the other characters seem to be more similar to their original counterparts. i think naomi was probably cast in this role because of this style. it is striking to see how this acted "face" (the falsity of bourgeois presentation) completely deteriorates towards the end of the movie.

  • she touched the meat then the other knife then the fridge... what a dumb bitch...

  • God I just want to know the backroud stories behind Paul and Peter DX

  • Is that a mutha fucking shamwow? lol

  • Not to dwell on this, but he doesn't actually seem genuine with his apology either. Maybe she had a bad feeling about the whole situation, I probably would have

  • @sashavice exactly...everybodies saying how the mother is a bitch...but honestly i probably would have been hella suspicious too lol

  • God, the mother is such a freaking bitch. You ever wonder why they attacked them?

You can tell she's one when he asks for another set of eggs and she seems to sneer at him. And who keeps random cartons around? And how cleans spills up like that? And who.....god, this movie pisses me off....

  • @Knoxvicious

In the original I thought the mother was a lot nicer, so maybe it's just Naomi Watts?

  • @Knoxvicious She may have been a little short, but I don't think she was being a bitch. She's alone in the house, dude climbs through a hole in the fence in the backyard to come in, she bums him four eggs, he drops them, doesn't offer to clean them up himself, she tells him they'll have visitors who might eat eggs, he ignores and asks for 4 more, ruins her cell phone, then asks for the freaking egg carton. Just because she's not a complete pushover, does not make her a bitch

  • @sashavice I agree....if he ruined my phone and caused so much confusion, I would want him OUT as soon as possible!

  • @morikahjo : PLUS: Do you know what it TAKES to disable a cell phone? A quick little dip in a sink isn't going to do it--most cell phones are built like miniature Hummers. When he did that, I'd take it as a gesture of intended hostility and head discreetly and firmly toward the golf bag.

  • @Knoxvicious They would have attacked them regardless, they are basically just going door to door terrorizing families. The scene where he walks through the gate with the neighbor shows they have been messing with them as well. The getting eggs thing is bullshit, did you not see the ending. They're just psychos provoking random people because they get a kick out of it.

  • @Knoxvicious ppl dont have eggs to just give away

  • lol!why is that boy wearing white gloves combined with white shorts?LOL! someone who dresses like that is already suspicious!:-D

  • wow. Youtube allowed this film on here!!?!! lol

this is an amazing film though

  • i've watched the movie three times now

  • ....I have never seen this before. I don't know what's gonna happen, but I am fucking creeped out right now. .____.

  • Wow, they are a really affluent family - maybe that is why they are selected the gloved men in white? Some kind of envy vengence? Why are they so polite and charming? It is very annoying!! If anyone ever comes knocking at my door asking for eggs I will freak out!!

  • @mizlucyjane

The fact that the two men are so polite makes the ending seem even creepier.

  • @mizlucyjane affluence is key

  • @mizlucyjane These guys are just plain evil, monsters. They don't have a reason, they don't need one. They just do what they do.
