Bldg SEEMED to explode because of the large forces freed to act on perimeter columns when the hat truss connections were destroyed. How many bldgs have been built since the '70s using similar construction principles? Chicago Sears Tower for one, I think. The safety of such bldgs should be looked at, with a view to improvement. Whoever caused 9/11, I doubt they could have anticipated the bldgs to collapse. Collapse would not have been necessary to justify Afg & Iraq invasions.

It wasn't a freefall collapse. A not a "nearly freefall" also. On the videos you can clearly see sheets of perimeter units flying faster through air than the destruction wave progresses.

WOW look at the bottom left, the sudden ejection of a huge perimeter wall at 0:12. Great Video as always xen, clearly this wall was ejected horizontally and that can only happen when explosives/incendiaries are used.
