The standing heavy hits more than once, and so does the kitty slash, should I let all the hits connect? or cancel it out after the first hit connects? Can't seem to get that air M after toy touch.

And i actually do better with a stick for movement and attack accuracy.

For actual special move accuracy i prefer the D-Pad, but i cant stand its position on the 360 controller.

@phoniexkai I would say use whatever you feel most comfortable with. I was able to do all of the missions using the Street Fighter IV pad no problem, even if it is one of the slightly defective ones. Dang corner inputs! lol

mission 8 and up are tricky. it's hard to catch the timing on some of that slide and the partner cues. this vid helped me see it. quite awesome. and you can totally do these in a fight. just takes practice. the sharper gamer can take these and make their own versions of it. while people will always exploit the hell of out the marvel series with the spamming and other bs the game is damn awesome nonetheless.

The first Darkstalkers game was released in the mid-90's, IIRC. So either Disgaea is referencing Felicia with the Nekomata's specia (Delta Kick)l, or it's a coincidence.

Any tips on doing her 9th? Everytime i try to land Viper's Assist, she either comes on screen to far back or Dormammu gets up before she does her attack. =/

@Skullomonkey Well you have to do it in the corner so if your trying to do it outside the corner she will be too far back. When you send Dormammu in the air do the air combo nice and slowly so Felicia is closer to the ground when you do the final hit to send him flying to the ground. This will let Felicia recover faster (because she hits the ground sooner) and be able to call out viper more quickly so you hit him before he gets back up.

@NissanZaxima This is the best advice for her 9th challenge. Capcom should have added a "Preview Combo" for the missions (Like Blazblue), since a lot of them require the player to do specific things that aren't mentioned.

@Eggymegger I wouldn't worry so much. I played an earlier build of this last year at Eurogamer and as I suspected, linking normal moves are a great deal easier here. For one, there's only 3 attack buttons as opposed to 6 in SF (with the other three representing a launcher move and your 2 assists) so it's a lot easier to get your head around at the heightened pace. Also, linking moves in this seems to be a lot less about hitting at the right time and more about how fast you can hit the next move.

@Eggymegger Not to mention hyper combos (Level 1 being a replacement for SF's Supers and Level 3 repping SF' Ultras) are much easier to get out now because of their simplified inputs. While in SFIV supers/ultras are mostly about double-quarter-rolls -- ultras in particular requiring you to hit three buttons simultaneously, in this game the inputs work a lot more like SFIV's EX moves. Example, Ryu's Shoryuken is f-d-df with a button, while the metsu shoryuken is the same input but with 2 buttons

@Eggymegger They can be used in tourny play but the game is very beginner friendly. I just played today with one of my friends that doesn't even play fighting games and he was able to use the supers and combo very nicely. I set my handycap on 4 starts and we were having a great time. I wasn't a very good player on SSF4 either but this game is alot faster and with characters jumping out and specials flying everywhere its more appealing and fun.
