I have to agree the VC can be expensive as Hell but a fun fact. Some games can be more than $30 off from their original value when they were in the stores.

ha ha and after i asked the shop keep how much he wanted 6 got in the car and looked on the back , there was a tag for $8 on it still a steal

Great review dude!! I just found out about this game today, I'm a big fan of 'super ghouls and ghosts' and stumbled upon this cause I was curious as to how many 'ghosts and goblin' games there were in the series and am extremely surprised that this exists and that I'd never heard of it before.......again though great review I can't wait to play this !!!!!!!

you could really get through the whole game in a hour with no guides? thats crazy short..id hope it would at least be 5 or 6...i havent played the game in ages...i think i was 12 when it came out

A great review for a great game! I like the way you talk =) you should defo make more reviews! Though, I'd give it a straight 10/10 - it still gives me goosebumps, and has an atmosphere I have not discovered in ANY other game yet.

hey i have a question to anyone who can answer me. how do you record the game with such good picture? do you use a emulator or actually record it off a tv? i really want to know so if any one can message me or something please and thank you.

I don't know if someone answered this question for you else where, but I use a techsmith codec to compress the video. It came with Camtasia Studio program. I've tried using the codec that comes with CamStudio and it seemed pretty good, not to mention it's free. Sometimes the video won't come out as good as I want it to b/c I have to compress it for Youtube's standards.

Use a emulator it looks much better. On some emulators you can record the game playing.

Very solid review. This is probably my favorite game on the SNES.

And as you know if you explore all the areas, & fight all the bosses this game is not super short.

The end boss battle is great, & challenging.

Very Nice Review XD, you have a really nice voice, and yes, this Game is a Legend, i still dont get why it was underated, maybe it was a bit tetrical or something, but still, it was Nice as Hell o O... Firebrand FTW Lol XD

men this game is so awesome, this deserve a sequel more than any other capcom game, is like the battletoads of rare, doesn't matter how cool they games are nobody want to remember this. And talking about every thing this game should be in the top 20 game of screwattack instead of that bunch of wussy RPG (nothing agaisnt them but hell the snes got a lot of cool game that wasn't RPG)

I was working on Contra Hard Corps, I was doing a detailed review, I got what I want to say written down and finished but GTA4 came out. I had to see what was all the hype with that game then I just got sucked up into a bunch of other oldschool games. I'll get to it eventually.

I agree, this game was really overlooked and overshadowed by other games on the SNES.  It's also underrated. I really need to get this game again.

Nice review.

I remember hearing that they didn't manufacture too many copies of this game.

So it's pretty rare.

I find the length of this game to be quite good.

For classic games like this, I like them to take about 1-2 hours to beat.

My only real complaint with this game, like you said, is the headbutting.
