This is a VERY outdated version of Eckankar and this guy fell, and was kicked out. It's all open back history. This is so biased! Shame on you guys! A path is good or bad by its WORKS--if members live for God and do good works...it matters not how they get there; if it's right for them. Eckankar teaches self love, astral projection, and contact with beings contacted through an alterted state of consciousness. The unsuspecting participants of Eckankar are in all actuality contacting demons and are darkly deceved. I seen these videos when they first came out. They used to meet right next door to where I lived. Channeling, all that spiritual deception is pure evil.

Not sure why the "VS" debate? These show little about Eckankar's teachings.

Darwin was ousted long _after_ he had relinquished the spiritual leadership of Eckankar. I learned a great deal from Darwin as the leader of Eckankar.

He passed away on 3- 8-08

In deciding which path to follow we were told to look to our own inner perceptions by both Darwin and Harold. One decides/judges by ones own personal inner experiences with the Light and Sound and not on miracles and outer personality.

Eckankar is not in conflict with Christianity, though Christians may think it is, but I have no problem with them. Bottom line, if you believe you're being attacked by entities or "ascended masters," then simply avoid exploring such things. There is nothing wrong with Christianity or any of the conventional religions. Stay with them if you feel other teachings don't work for you. Eckankar cannot be encapsulated in a video series...not even by Darwin Gross, so this can NOT explain it for anyone.

Just because Christians converted a pagan holiday (winter solstice, Roman Saturnalia, etc.) centuries ago doesn't indicate that the meaning of the holiday hasn't changed with it. Christians celebrate Christmas because of Jesus. The time of the year is directly related to pagan practices, but the meaning is still Christ.
