  • Well, someone is ready for the Zombie Apocalypse.

  • would own all in CQB !

  • @sssarsss

I bet you cant eat more apples than i can, 50 and still counting.

  • gotta love tommy guns

  • Isn't this illegal just about anywhere in the US?

  • @mygaffer No. Automatic weapons manufactured before May 1st, 1986 are legal in the US if you pass a background check, submit your fingerprints to the ATF, and have the consent of your local police chief, sheriff, or state police chief.

  • @usaf4ever1824 Kind of stupid. The people most likely to commit violent gun crime were never going to buy their guns legally in the first place.

  • it was mad in 1919

  • @einhorn040779 yeah the 1928 tompsom madei nt 1919 makes sence i mean before the 1921 tompson they made 1928 tompsons makes sence(not really)

  • beautiful 28.

  • "Keep the change, you filthy animal."

  • @SevenSixTwoNato i havent seen that movie in so long

  • godfather style

  • Does anyone think a gun company like Colt or something needs to start remaking all sorts of historical weaponry in high-quality production? Whether it be Thompsons, AK's, Garands, or Muskets? I think it would be really neat to see a return of older firearms.

  • My dad's friend used to have the exact same Thompson, with the drum mag and stick mag, unfortunately he sold it before I was able to shoot it, (I think he sold it for about $15,000) considering the Thompson has to be one of my favorite firearms of all time. :(

  • hey man i subed you is it okay if i use the sound of your gun in my ww2 movie because all other sounds are from call of duty ?

  • @issenterprise1 DO IT.

    hollywood movie or homemade ?

  • @SuperSmoker12345 home made man i wish it was hollywood lol

  • @issenterprise1 naaah hollywood is just for money homemade's are for the good old fun!

  • @SuperSmoker12345 ya your right

  • its a howt

  • cuantas balas tiene?

  • @niko2125 Uno de esos barriles puede tener hasta 100 balas...

  • wait! what is that place? SKYRIM?!

  • Has to be my Favorite gun.

  • to the guy who said "i guess they were shooting blanks" are you blind?

When he loads the drum you can clearly see the bullet tips.

  • just wondering, is it a lot stabler with the drum clip?

  • @Dragunov1185 You guessed wrong. I don't shoot blanks.

  • @gunut4FMJ After I posted that comment, I realized how much of a derp I am, considering It was showing live rounds in the loading of the gun. Dx

  • @gunut4FMJ then excellent recoil control, good sir.

  • @gunut4FMJ I like the other model. It looks pretty cool.

  • @Dragunov1185Its a .45 bullet r-tard.. its not that hard

  • @Dragunov1185 look at the bullet on the drum while loading that is no blank

  • @Dragunov1185 you can clearly see the bullets in the drum in the first 5 seconds of the vid.

  • @Dragunov1185 but you could see the actual bullet in the beginning

  • @Dragunov1185 I'm guessing you play call of duty..

  • @cheeeeezitz I'm guessing nobody is not retarded enough to realize that I responded to Smoker's comment saying I wasn't really thinking when I wrote that first comment. I realize he wasn't freaking shooting blanks, considering I do gun reviews and do a bit of shooting. I have gotten 6 replies to that comment, no need to get any more.

  • @Dragunov1185 Well at least you realized your mistake.

  • @Dragunov1185 WTF man. He was NOT shooting blanks.

  • @Dragunov1185 hey cod player, you can clearly see the bullets on the drum.

  • @TheRaizenLegend Look about 4 fucking comments down, you oblivious retard, and you'll see my response to someone that said the exact same thing as you.

  • @Dragunov1185 haha It doesn't matter, everyone that notice your mistake will reply hahahahaha thats what you get for being a dumbass.

  • @Dragunov1185 Just remove your first comment. that should stop the reply's muhahaha

  • @Dragunov1185 dude just look closely and you'll see that it's live ammo!

  • i want one of those lol

  • when i go to the field i always think the marines would be better if we used a little slice of the 20's and 40's on the field because this modern shit is a bummer

  • @SuperSmoker12345 You're totally right! Better ergonomics, more mechanical accuracy, and cartridges designed to maximize soft tissue damage while reducing weight are SO lame!

  • @fulsame1 hey bud i only said' "a little slice of the 20's , 40's"(just some of the original design's with the maximun modern power) i didn't mean i wanted a guy taking ak 47 7x62 fire while firing a .22 machinegun. and i said' "modern weapon's are a bummer" because i really like antique's and one modern gun blew off in my brother's finger's in the front lines(the british medics put it right back and it work's 100% now).but i see you got a point and i respect that.sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • @SuperSmoker12345 youtube needs more kind guys like you

  • @crocop195 Thank's bud!

  • @SuperSmoker12345 Its all bullshit NATO regulations. I miss when weapons had real power to them.

  • @hummerskickass would you rather waste ammo with a 7.62 round and hit somebody in the stomach and kill them or use minimal ammo with a 5.56 and shoot somebody in the heart an kill them?

  • @jw00dman If its worth killing, its worth overkilling

  • @hummerskickass never heard that before but i agree. :)

  • @hummerskickass you spoke from the deepest of your heart son well done(if you think ,no im not joking).

  • @hummerskickass that's why i love antiques

  • @SuperSmoker12345 You would prefer this to an AR?

  • @TheRagingFoxhound yes.Why not? a true classic old but good and i have both of them i do prefer it

  • how much do these bad boys cost these day , (original) or(replicas) would be nice to know.

  • @albin43211 10's of thousands

  • @albin43211

I haven't seen a Tommy sell at full price in years. FFLs can stick a $25,000 price tag on it, but most guns that have sold recently went for about $12,000. Not cheap, but a lot less than during the 2000s. There is also a $200 tax stamp payable to the ATF and a mountain of paperwork.

Auto-Ordnance makes a semi-automatic reproduction for about $1100. It also has an ugly extra-long barrel to comply with US firearms laws. These guns are also known to have problems.

  • Say hello to my little friend!!!

  • That's an EXTREMELY good looking receiver, how'd you get a hold of that gem?

  • LIKE A BAWS...

  • So sick!

  • damn, you held that recoil down like a beast

  • this is hella weird... i know the m1a1's bolt is on the side, but i also thought the grip was diffrent?

  • @rkan665 the grip for the 1928 is specialized, but not all models have that grip, hell some can be changed.

  • @ItzVinCinity It's M1928A1

  • @T4mp10 and? thats the same thing i said its just the full name..

  • dakka dakka!

  • Thats a few dead Nazis there.

  • @sarahsteven07 nazis r ww2 this is 1928 tommy the kind in ww2 had a differint mag

  • @awesometjdude they did use this tommy in ww2, it just wasnt very common, but they were out there, also, the charging handle on the M1A1 tommy was on the side and not the top, just so you know

  • @awesometjdude Thompson M1928 was used in WWII on all fronts. Please do your homework.

  • @woozleification Did you know that The M1A1 was the upgraded version of the original 1928

  • @Atmixx It was more or less "down graded" wasen't it? Less refined, simpler, and just all the way around cheaper.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy But in a documentary I watched they said it was a better version

  • @Atmixx For military applications they were. You could drop them in the mud and not worry about anything, they would just keep going. The 28 was too refined and nice to be a real military weapon where as the M1A1 was just a to the core killing machine.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy Oh, okey so in a way the Thompson is a little better then some of the modern guns, because with the some om the modern guns they are mostly jamming when it get mud in them

  • @Atmixx From a reliability standpoint yes, it's one of the best submachine guns out there. Reason it got removed from service is its too heavy and expensive

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy But it looks very light when you look at pictures and it doesnt look so expensive either

  • @Atmixx I didn't think they were heavy either until i actually held one (rifle length barrel and EMPTY 50 round drum in it) and it made a Garand seem like a feather. And yes they are very expensive. When it originally came out for the civilian market in the 20s it cost $600, and that was the actual price, not an inflation correction.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy Then i have learned something new today.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy yeah in that time $600 was like $6.000

my grandfather was in the marines in WWI and he got only U$100 per mont

  • @SuperSmoker12345 Actually I think it would have been more like $15000 then. And I'd believe $100 a month, considering a brand new Chevy Sedan was right around $1000 then.

  • @DinoHunter2 hey they classify the m4a1 as an assault rifle too.

(its a carbine as well) Really wish game makers would do their homework.

Well, Battlefield is more accurate than the cod series.

Cod should also know that in the date COD is set in that Russia would be using

    AK-74M's by then.

    +1DinoHunter2

  • Nice video. But looks like the rate of fire was a little slow for a Thompson. They are fun to shoot!

  • Pussies using headphones.

  • @gtarules1 Real men like you shoot 1 or 2 times a year and go without hearing protection?

  • @spraynpray I'm pretty sure soldiers in Afghanistan don't use ear protection...so explain that?

  • @gtarules1 N thats why MOST veterans have hearing problems.

  • Ditto' on the idiots who play video games trying to compare real firearms to their skill level abilities - I had the same situation with a dumb ass who thought he was some kind of expert on weapons trying to tell me about weapons as he knew it - and he was nowhere near the truth or reality. I handed him a real UZI 9mm and he all most shit all over himself.

FUNNY' Ha ha ha you should of seen how stupid he looked trying to figure it out.

  • I don't encourege crime, but it Would be pretty fucking awesome if a modern bank of today would be robbed by some robbers with these classic guns!

  • anyone else click on the breast massage video on the right?

  • ikr

  • HOW CAN A BREAST MASSAGE VIDEO BE POSSIBLY RELATED TO THIS??????????

  • I like these better with foregrips.

  • @DarthSubordination It has a foregrip - a horizontal one. ;)

  • @DarthSubordination Lolies...I was referring to a vertical foregrip.

  • Are you sure thats not an M1A1 Thompson? Wheres the front hand grip?

  • @D0OMZDAYZ Not all M1928s had the vertical grip. The M1928A1, for example, was supplied with the horizontal grip.

Also, in my opinion, it's easier to handle with the horizontal grip when you have a drum on it.

  • @No1sonuk ah ok, I guess that makes sense

  • @D0OMZDAYZ The M1A1 had the charging handle on the right side instead of on top and they have different magazines

  • @TPStinger17 But the M1928A1 had a top cocking handle, horizontal handguard, was able to use the drum and the stick magazines and muzzle compensator. The M1A1 had a side cocking handle, was unable to use the drums and didnt have a compensator on the muzzle.

  • never shot a gun before,

BUT I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS ONE AS MY FIRST

    COOLEST GUN EVER

ill be on my Charles Bronson style

  • That thing must be a pain in the balls to reload.

Reword: it /is/ a pain in the balls to reload.

  • I love .45's. Could you imagine how painful it must be to have one rip through your torso at 850FPS?

  • Ty kráso, krásnej Tomík ! ;)

  • why does it have a m1a1 thompson front grip

  • @dixiedudefilms They were made for the M1928A1 first I believe...

Besides, the 2 were interchangeable the mount plate under the barrel is the same as far as the grip fitting is concerned.

  • IM GETN A 1928 THIS SUMMER YAAAAAAY

  • Oh yeah, the Thompson kicks like a mule alright. NOT.

  • my grandfather used the M1A1 in France and Germany, he said its probably one of the best guns ever made. Badass American Gun

  • It's weight makes it more controllable. Am I right?

  • gotta love the thompson. AND WHO ACCIDENTALLY PRESSED DISLIKE?

  • The automatic fire seems a bit jumpy but what do you expect from one of the first SMGs ever created lol Great vid!

  • why does the gun sound too soft in this video, af if though it is equipped with a silencer?

  • @DNchap1417 cameras cut off most of the sound

  • somebody's deader than shit

  • do they use 45 ammo or 9mm?look's like 45

  • @redneckman211 .45 ACP

  • Everybody loves the Thompson, except who think the gun's overpowered. Think about it, the heavy 11.43mm slug means it has better piercing and penetration power than other bullet types, except the .50 cal. You can even blow someone's arm off if you aim your shot right. Anyway, it's plain to see why this gun was the standard issue machine gun from 1928 until well into the 60s, being gradually replaced by the more street combat-friendly M16 in the latter decade.

  • Where do you get these guns?

  • If you paint it and put a scope on it it would make a nice anti-sniper rifle, i've seen the same weapon in COD the SAS use that sometimes but with a silencer

  • @Kapov *facepalm*

  • Ok that is still my all time favorite guns "Thompson Family".

The rof looks right to me short controlled bursts, a single hit from that is deadly you take 2-3 you are mess.

Good vid I subbed ya will be watching for more.

  • odd rate of fire on tht

  • @DinoHunter2 ha ha, i get it now...lol 5 month joke fail -.- i need to get some humor in me eh...

  • @DinoHunter2 Thank YOU MY FRIEND! Finally someone who understands what sarcasm is! :)

  • @DinoHunter2 heh i don't get it very well when i can't read people's tones on the computer :l

  • The Tommy gun suck like the AK-47

  • Man, I'm getting sick of all these stupid Airsoft videos, buy a real gun.

  • @TheHevquip LOL. Airsoft doesn't use .45 ACP...

BTW If you know where to get a GBB, shell ejecting airsoft M1928, please tell me. I'll import a load into the UK and make a fortune!

  • @TheHevquip That was a real gun u idiot

  • @Lord666Belial hey, good to see you still understand sarcasm...*rolls eyes*

  • The camera guy gets pelted with shells!!

  • He makes the recoil his bitch.

  • Yes at first glance it does look like an M1A1 but it is not as A1 cant take a drum mag and dosent have a barrel spring

  • Ok is it just me or does the rate of fire speed up and slow down? I have never seen that on a Thompson and I've shot several.....

  • @SpencerAK74M Some ammo isn't as consistent as others.

  • @SpencerAK74M Sounds slow to me, maybe a nice cleaning and a lube job from hell

  • @SpencerAK74M This is the civilian version of the Thompson sub-machine gun, when the army adopted it they asked to decrease the rate of fire because they believed that higher rate of fire would just mean less accuracy and more wasted ammo.

  • @ GunsOfThePhoenix ya well my grandpa remembers when your grandpa sucked his sausage! enough nostalgia!

  • My grandpa remembers back in the early 40's when he was young, you could buy a full auto Thompson at the post office for $35. .45 ACP Ammo was 1/2 penny per round.

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix I wish if the ammo stay the same price at this time... Gosh... I want a Thompson M1928A1 so hard...

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix WHAT THE FUCK, I WANT ONE SO BAD NOW

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix Wow! And now im spending 20$ to 28$ for a box of ammo to run through my 1911. See how prices have gone up?

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix That would make buying stamps a more enjoyable experience, if you could also buy a submachine gun at the same time.

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix then there was the $200 exotrtion tax from the nfa

  • @VoiceOverWiz was i the only 1 that understood this statement? it was a joke you were referring to the children who play cod or whatever games so they think they know about guns

  • IT WAS A JOKE EVERYONE! I am not an idiot bean.

  • @VoiceOverWiz LOL whatever.

  • That looks really controlable, a lot of other thompson videos make the recoil look ridiculous. Is there any reason for that?

  • @Skiier2008 There's a compensator on the end of the barrel which reduces the recoil.

  • @Skiier2008 Many people have poor stances when they shoot a full auto. Compensator or not, the Thompson is quite controllable.

  • I shot one for my 16th birthday and it was very easy to shoot

  • @Skiier2008 the compensator they made for the thompson that screws onto the nozzle counteracts the recoil

  • Could I come shooting with you guys? Please?

  • i love thompson

  • I found my new birthday gift

  • the thompson shoots a .45 cal pistol round that is why it is considered a smg(sub machine gun) an actual machine gun doesnt shoot pistol rounds it shoots rifle rounds like the ar15 is an assult rifle but it shoots the .223 but the m16 shoots the 5.56 the 5.56 is basically the same thing as .223 another example of 2 different calibers but are basically the same is the 7.62 which is fired from either a sks or an ak 47 but the .308 is basically the same thing as the 7.62

  • @kodyman20 toad.

  • WHAT BULLETS DOES IT SHOOT?? .38???

  • @drummer87ish rounds ;)

  • @collieoVTEC haha,my fault...i sounded like a twelve year old, didnt i?

  • @drummer87ish yarp

  • @drummer87ish 45.ACP

  • The ejected shells are hitting the cameraman. Ouch

  • 50 rounds sure doesn't last long - one session at the range must be really expensive. This looks more like a rich man's hobby these days.

  • <
