I hope they have made some new weapons,the weapons of "shadow of chernobyl" were ugly but that's the only thing i hated about the game. I really love the game in general.

They have new weapons, you can also upgrade and repair them.

Finally you can repair them it was such a bummer when you had a unique weapon and it breaks.

looks great, and all that, but why does nobody ever use iron sights? seriously. shadow of chernobyl has it, so i turn off the crosshair to make things realistic. i really hope clear sky has it too, or i might not even get it. it adds depth and realism to combat, instead of making it feel like half-life all over again. (not to say half-life is bad. its a great game. its just really unrealistic, as far as combat goes)

You wouldn't by an undeniably epic game just because it wouldn't let you turn off the crosshair? I understand your quarrel about combat realism and such, but it seems a little silly to me...

I played without crosshair Stalker, veteran. In the nuclear power station I was 6 or 8 hours of fight - only in the secret base of the monoliths and in the roofs 4 hours -. Finish the game in this mode is an epic, to the heigh of the true end in the roofs of the Nuclear plant. I have a video about this .

i play stalker on veteran w/ no crosshairs, but thats not my big problem. id love the option to turn off the crosshairs in clear sky and definitely would turn it off, but thats not what i meant. i can live with the crosshair as long as u can still, also use iron sights. if u cant even aim yur gun in combat, then yea, i wouldnt buy it. if i wanted to do that kind of combat (hip fire 100% of the time), id play some half-life. otherwise, ill stick to shadow of chernobyl and cod4.

Actually the reason it came out as late as it did was because the engine wasn't finished. Now however it is highly likely it will come out on the actual realese date.
