I was born in 1986, so i played sonic 2 a lot. Even today i have problems with this boss. I don't know exactly how to beat it lol

My lucky came when i bought a game magazine with the codes for the game. I can't remember the number sequences, but with one of the codes sonic could morph in anything. This, plus the super sonic code (04, 01, 02, 06. A + start), this boss was easy beaten! Those were the good old times =')

Nowadays, they hold your hand by giving you rings to finish up the fight, or making you play as Super Sonic. None of them catch the epic feel a boss like this emanates. ~

Just when he targets you make sure you're at the side of the screen. When it locks on quickly run toward the middle. When he lands theres a second where his legs absorb the shock from the fall and his upper body lowers toward you. Jump and smack him in the chest. Then run all the way across for when he fires his arms, u won't get hit. rinse and repeat.

I actually like the original of the generations one because it emphasizes on some parts which make it sound more epic while the generations one blasts other random parts over those key segments. Now the hub work mix I believe is great because it's like a metal version of this and I feel this was always intended as a metal song.

I was born in '97. When I was four years old, I played Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time on my dad's Sega Genesis (which was preserved like a frozen head). I remember dying at that god awful platforming section of the Chemical Plant zone where the water is rising over and over and over. Then my dad came in and I watched him beat the game like it was nothing.

Games like Call of Duty and Battlefield have spoiled me, because I STILL struggle to beat this game.
