  • @trustjab LOL! Thanks about $7400.00, not counting the throne, mics, and cymbals.

  • Great job man, I am learning this now it's a lot harder than it looks. Alex has a lot of things he does that are very unique. But great cover you nailed it and it's helping me learn the song a lot.

  • @jtc95 Yes he is Awesome.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow , YOU ´RE 2ND ALEX ¡¡¡¡

  • @aquelachinitable THank You Very Much, That is a tall order to play like Alex he has certain quirks that are very hard to pin down. I am glad you think I have almost got them.

  • AWSOME JOB

  • Thanks again!

  • HOT FOR TEACHER BROTHER!!! you can do it. took alex 6 overdubs to get the idea down for the beginning before he could actually sit down and learn it. but you can do it

  • @justin0185 OK I will try and work it out, can't gaurantee the beginning though.LOL!

  • Fuckin A!!!

  • Nice catches going into the verses! Thanks! It works well..

  • Thank You, I actually saw them live, 3 times back then, and thats what Alex actually did, so I incorporated it.

  • Nice job man sweet drum set

What hihats do u have because they sound SWEET

  • Zildjian 14" ZXT's, I did use Paiste Sound Edge 14,s until they broke, they will be replaced as soon as I can afford it, but the zxt's are nice, I will probably cable these but they are nice.

  • Congratulations from Argentina!!!!

Here we said " sos un groso"

  • Is that good or bad lol!

  • Great job! Your drums really do sound awesome.

  • Thank you! they will sound much better with Remo Pinstripes. As soon as I get non-lazy, and change them thanks again.

  • that's what she said.

  • She Did?

  • Kick ass*****

  • Thank you for the super comments, I may try hot for teacher, but the beginning will be rough. House of pain I can do.

  • Damn incredible, oh my gosh. Haha, I had to laugh watching that - your hands move effortlessly. You make it look simple.

  • Thanks for checking it out glad you enjoyed it.

  • this is the best cover of this i've seen on youtube.

  • Thanks I try to be very accurate when I cover something, it doesn't always work though, but thank you for your comment, I am glad you liked it.

  • try hot for teacher or house of pain, that would be cool...

  • great cover! wicked set :O

  • I appreciate the comment and yes they rock.

  • wish I had that kit

  • It is a nice kit, but I recently played out and had to carry them in a land rover, that was a job lol!

  • what cymbals do you use?

  • Paiste Signature series Splash, Zildjian ZXT Hi Hats, Paiste 2002 16" crash, Paiste 16" 3000, Paiste 18" 2002, Paiste 22" Ride 2002, Paiste 505 China.

  • wow thats pretty much my dream kit

  • Tama Superstar Customs, w rack titanium fade.

It cost's about $ 4500.00, I had to order extra drums. it has 10", 12", 13", 14"ft, 16"ft, 2 22" kicks, the snare I am using is off of my 1986 Superstars it is 6 1/2 " deep by 14". Cybals I have had a while, since 1989 to be exact except for the splash and Hi Hats.

  • ...and my dream kit will stay in my dreams now

  • Nah, I had to just save up a little at a time and you probably wouldn,t need all those extras, Ive, had the others since 1986 and figured to preserve them I needed a new one.

  • Simply AWESOME!!! You make it look effortless! Great job!

  • Thank You! This song is a good jam, I just sorta let it go! so to speak.

  • good playin

  • Thanks!

  • i love at 0:46

  • Thanks the first bit sounds wierd cause I'm overdriving the mic on the camera. Sorry.

  • Wow your the first person on YouTube that i've seen play this RIGHT! Ha nice job. You do any Rush?

  • Thank you very much for the comment< I do play some rush on here on my channel, but it is not that great, I recorded it when my tendonitis was real bad, it's getting better so I will re-record them and post soon.

  • Alright sounds good to me. What cymbals do you use?

  • I use Zizdjian ZXT Hi-Hats and Paiste 2002 and #000 crashes, and a Paiste 505 China, also a Paiste signature series 10" splash

  • I used to use Paiste but as the Neil Peart "amature" (if i spelled that right) that i am, i'm using his Sabian Paragon.

  • They are pretty good cymbals, I chose paiste because of the crispness and the durability, the zildjian's usually crack too easy, but the zxt's are more for heavy playing so they are ok.

  • But another thing bout Paragon is the price. Damn you Neil Peart.

  • Yes they are good priced and they do have a good sound, I have had to replace a few Paiste's and wished I'd gone a little cheaper in price. But the Paragons are good quality, as all Sabians are.

  • Just perfect ! Congratulations !

  • Thanks! Alex isn't as easy as people think, I'll put some more up later on maybe some old school.

  • I rank Alex's level of Difficulty near that of Peart's..... Obviously Peart takes the cake on that.

I usually go Zildjan ZBT. Good sound, they hold up well, and they are cheap. But ZXT's are good too.

  • Yes he does because of his versitility, and his multipercussion background. But you have to give Alex his props for being just complicated enough to make it really interesting.

  • I completely agree.

  • Perfect! Ha! You were right...this got me up and dancing around the room this morning! Thanks, Bill :)

  • hey bill u were awesome alex is one of my idols and u play just as good as him so again u were awesome. if u can can u check out my bands guitar and drum covers the ftl one is a solo we can up with sorry about the talking that was my bro in the background. but again awesome job. U ROCK!!!!

  • Thats rockin' man! Very good, even though I hardly know anything about drums ( guitar player ).

  • Thanks man, I play a little guitar, it's pretty tough to self teach huh! I'll check some of your stuff out. Check out PDXguitarlegend and satchboogy they are awesome.

  • NICE KIT ! maybe if i save i can get a kit like that

    sweet !

  • Thanks man, This kit wasn't as expensive as my old Red Superstars but it rocks! Cymbals are the most expensive, Paiste 2002 and 300 series. Good luck and thanks for the comment.

Oh the color is titanium fade, Tama Superstar Classics.

  • damn nice!!!

  • Thanks

    Bill
