just bought this phone after putting my sidekick 3 on ebay. do NOT buy ANY sidekick. blackberrys do the same things and more now like wifi. sidekicks? NO custom ringtones or themes. tmobile forces you to use their download catalog which has CRAP content. blackberrys? you can customize till blue in the face. trust me man, buy more bling or a better blackberry like the 9000. you will thank me.

i go the lx and now im getting the 8800 on wednesday ive had the lx for 3 months now and its ok but with no push e-mail its not worth it plus the new lx is commin out on may 13th and is gonna be $200 but its not as good as the slide the slide beats it for sound and size it does veerything that the lx does but better

i got the 8820. couple of problems.

1. cant plug in a regular headphone adapter, when i put a 2.5mm/3.5mm adapter it initiates auto vioce dial. coz it "shorts" something inside no sound comes out. aparanlty u need a special adapter

2. lack of applications

3. web browsing very poor speeds, and screen is way too small to see anything decent, makes web browsing useless.

u cant go wrong with the iphone. it has heaps of applications and also has a regular 3.5mm headphone jack.

i had the first generation iphone and unlocked it for tmobile and i sold that to get the new iphone 3g on july 11 and currently i have the sidekick lx..... in my opinion the iphone is better than the lx the lx is only good for emails and texting because of the key board but trust me i am a phone freak and the iphone is better than the sidekick and the iphone 3g is gonna be even better
