  • I regret everyday not staying in soccer my first 3 years FML -__-

  • @SpaniardWins you shouldn't be playing every day

  • hows this tips?

  • what the hell is his name??....jorven yom nyellow?

  • I'm from Denmark! And to me it's sounds like High School soccer is a running club? Don't you go to soccer to be a better soccer player not a better runner - I had played football since I was 4 years now I am 15 and this spring I'm moving to the US!

I'm just in doubt off the level for High School Soccer?? To me It maybe sounds a bit poor but i don't know.

  • @MLiedecke He means that if you can't run fast, and long distances, you will be behind. Running isn't the most important, but it is definetely something to work on.

  • @TheChris370 That is fine by me. Ask My team Orgryte IS in Sweden. I wouldn't fool people by saying something like this. It is actually true. I was a natural talent at the age of 10. I score 98 goals in just 35 matches.

  • @TheChris370 BElieve it or not, when I was 10 years old Aston Villa offered me a contract. But my parents turned them down.

  • @Kurt1994CobainisGod i dont like the name soccer and it is called football, but just so u know, the word "soccer" came from the british. the britsh used to call it association football and then the british changed it to soccer for short.

  • i made my freshman team but we run more then we practice with the ball. its hard as hell

  • @TheChris370 oh thats awesome... expecially since your homeschooled, you have all the time in the world to workout and run all day, where the rest of us actually have to rotate classes and such

  • @TheChris370 Way to be humble.

  • @rawrasaurus117 score on yourself?????? not only can you not play football you cant even speak our language, go play your eggball or handball and read up on the oxford dictionary

  • who didnt know that

  • Yes I am!

  • which is why your watching a video for sports?

  • run like bloody hell

  • LMFAO great answer

  • Run alot its the most important part of soccer

  • Dakota1692, at the school I go to we've had ppl start 4 their 1st time in highschool, and leave by the end of their senior yrs w/scholarships 4 soccer, you'll do just fine, as long as your in jv.. lol

  • Hi This is my first time trying out for the team for Girls Soccer it it HARD-the running nd passing -4rm the 10th grader

  • i knew this

  • RUN, and then go run some more.

and then later you might want to go run some more.

  • is high school soccer really that big of a deal? I know fitness is a big part of it (and not a problem for me- I'm in pretty decent shape all ready), but do you really need to be a great player to be on a HS soccer team? I'm 16 and will be playing soccer for the first time this fall. Is that a big problem?

  • not if you like sitting on the bench.

  • yeah your pretty screwed, sorry

  • at some schools they look at your speed a lot more than at other things

  • your gpa wont matter in soccer

get fast and practice youre ball handling skills

dont forget to watch soccer games

    it helps

  • a lot of running .

    &ball control .

  • work on first touch and run like hell

  • i go to local parks and find a wall or fence that can help me on accuracy, passes, strikes, and other kicking factors.

and just like the other comments, running helps a lot and drink lots of water to help hydration

  • skill isnt a factor in highschool ive found out

  • not at my school, u just come and get picked, hes right about diet and equipment tho
