I actually loved this haircut so much i tried to do it on my own hair myself! Came out really well as your instructions were so easy to follow! The only obstacle was cutting my hair at the back! But i managed and it came out great! Thank you so much for your amazing hair cutting tutorials! :D
@israel8952 You could also call it the tick tock technique. Work your guide up like the hands on a clock. Start at 6 O'clock and work back to 3 O'clock....go back to 6 O'clock and work up to 9 O'clock...semi-circle or half of the clock:)
If I wanted to create the same look of this hair cut, with the graduated layers in the back, but the same length all over instead of it being longer in the front, how should i come about this?? im a new hair dresser just got out of school and im trying to learn new cuts
@hooyhoo44853 The more you over direct the sides to go back, the longer the sides will be. If you don't over direct the sides they will get shorter then the back and that's okay too... if that's what your looking for. You have to keep in mind that the neckline is much lower then around the ear. Over directing enables you to get the hair the same length while layering it:) I hope that helps:)
@RachelEClyne You should still over direct the front part of the hair towards the back even if you are not creating an a-line. If you don't over direct the front part of the hair to keep it longer, the sides will end up being shorter or too thin looking and you won't get this same effect:)
Thank you so much for your videos. They are so easy and actually understandable.I watched so many bs videos today, your tutorials are basic ,that's what I like about them,
Thanks for answering my question I had a feeling it was because she had diff. layers in her hair. I thought the video was really good, informative and I did love the final haircut and the back looked really good as well. However I would be really scared to have a razor used even though I know it looks scared.

The way you cut this hair was fab but please answer me this it looked like that one side (the left) seemed longer then the right - their seemed to be a chunk missing from the right side was this because she had a fringe that she was growing out? I have a bob and I have a very dominant side parting my hairdresser cuts my hair from the side parting and not from the the middle to make sure that one side is not shorter than the other and I do like it the way she does that.
@sarahcbyrne She had some layers left from her last haircut, so the very front section didn't reach. She just parts it on the side and wears it like a long side bang, which I thin looks pretty good;) Thanks for watching:) XO
I would love to see you cutting the Lisa Rinna on your mother-in-law. My hair is similar to that now...I'm always looking for new trendy ways for my short hair. Thanks
@favatat yeah ur so good and explanatory i'd love to see your interpretation of one of her cuts. i'm a hairdresser too but i dont have a lot of expierience yet so watching ur videos def shows me diffrent and new techniques to try!
So relaxing :)

Lovely, soft look, it's nice when you don't want the shorter more drastic look and can grow easily.
