You can tell Crysis was greatly influenced by Halo.

i was sorta thinking that...halo started with humans fighting humans then aliens came out of nowhere and attacked...its just a little different :P

I believe what Vykrel means xruntime, was the fact that you at first was Humans vs. Covenant, then Master Chief+Moniter vs. Flood. This part follows Halo 1, Halo 2 and Halo 3 have different enemies. Halo 3 have Brutes and Grunts and Flood.
