Even when i was 8 and saw this for the first time i always rooted for the hyenas.

All they want is to eat, fucking lions hog all the food so they have to settle for scraps. Then Simba goes in to THEIR territory acting like a snob douche and Mufasa acts like it's the other way around. SO not only do they have to be hungry and live in squalor, but they have to put up with those jerks bullying them around.

I personally liked them because, among other things, this has got to be one of the few times that a matriarchal species of animal is actually depicted in a cartoon movie as being led by females.
