First off too much sugar goes more into the diabetes area than cholesterol, it does affect cholesterol too but that's mainly when you have fat in the blood. Second off yes their might not be sugar but theirs aspartame read all my other comments i keep repeating the same thing. Aspartame is far more worse than sugar, its a toxin research it. The best possible way to avoid all this is stop drinking soft drinks PERIOD. I never do.
