  • cool hearing you play that on a fluke! great job!

  • It is one of the best things I have heard.

  • awsome

  • Brilliant - That song really suits you. Nicely done.

  • Awesome, never thought to do this song on an Ukulele

  • this is awesome!

  • Great! Thank You

  • Superb! What are the chords you're using?

  • During the verse, the chords are D D G A, the chorus is D D A G.

After the last verse, I actually play the chorus as D F#m G, which is a subtle change that works well, I think.

  • Thanks for replying. Really is spot on. Only been playing a couple of months and I think this is now my aspiration piece to aim for. Are they straight chords or did I see some hammer ons or whatever they're called? Sorry if that's a newbie question...

  • The D chord in the verse is really D Dsus2 D Dsus4 D. There is no hammer-on, but possibly a pull-off from Dsus4 to D. The movement on the e string is something like this:

    2-22220-02223222

Btw, as I have just now discovered for myself: If you want to play hammer-ons or pull-offs, make sure to cut the fingernails on your left hand first, it's much easier that way... ;)

  • Thanks again.

  • Best thing I've seen all day, someone replying with the chords to a song and giving tips on how to play it and just being amazing all around.

Great cover of the song, too, mate.

  • That was awesome man.

  • Great job!

  • very well done!!! nice job.
