beatiful song. my band class performed it for a concert, but it would never live up to this version. i love the police, and this song made me start listening to them
Sting is amazing! I got the thrill of singing with him on stage at his concert at the Gorge, WA. To see the video, search Jessica Ketola - check it out!
Sting looks really fit and in pretty good shape for his age, but he's like a statue when he performs. He doesn't move at all. It's nothing like the videos I've seen of the Police. He had so much more edginess and stage presence back then when he was young. I know he's old now, but come on, he's not THAT old! He could move around a little bit for crying out loud! Compare this video to the one of their 1983 performance of King of Pain. I like and respect Sting, but he has no energy now.
face it, their last album was the first solo STING album with the band as backup; much like THE WALL was Roger Waters solo with his band behind him... not technically, but...
Awesome, so cheap! But count in inflation, hourly wages, improvements in the quality of the equipment, their experience, and the NZ price of $80 general admission was still ok.
So I will!!!! I'm very, very excited. I've been waiting for this show for about 20 years. This version of "King of pain" is simply gorgeos, I love it!!! We'll see at Foro Sol in Mexico City.
AWESOME MAN! YOU WERE SOOO CLOSE!

audio quality is really bad.. unwatchable tbh. but I know that's the camera's fault. Amazing apart from that :)

kcobain8 3 years ago
i guessed by your screename, why do yu idolize him?
otherside65 3 years ago
just the way he led his life. excluding his kronic bronchidus [spelt it wrong i know] and odd stomach pains.
kcobain8 3 years ago
i dont think he led his life too well id he killed himself.....
otherside65 3 years ago
not nessecarily..
some people believe that.. but if you actually try to understand it and look up more stuff about it, he didnt kill himself.
kcobain8 3 years ago
yes he did, that "courtney killed him" thing is bs
otherside65 3 years ago

kcobain8 3 years ago

Doesn't matter the cost, these guys are the greatest band of all time. And Sting is also the greatest musician of all time.

That's cool that ya'll saw the Police this year for $300. Some of us saw them in '83 for $13.50

Wish I could have gone.

AND all the internet piracy. They've all got to make more live money to compensate for that...

Band still make more off albums now than they did in '83, we're in a far more globalised world now and people have more disposable income.
