@VFDuke Yes actually I can imagine that, as the retirement age is 65 in Belgium right now...as it is in most countries in the western part of the EU; Hell, they're even talking of raising it to 67. Anyway, can you imagine a 65 year old hotel receptionist, a kid nursery employee, a factory worker, a house builder, or a cafeteria waiter? @VFDuke Yes actually I can imagine that, as the retirement age is 65 in Belgium right now...as it is in most countries in the western part of the EU; Hell, they're even talking of raising it to 67. It is not something I like at all and if it can be avoided, please avoid it, but measures need to be taken.
And ofcourse some of the blame is to the EU for being too easy on Greece, but the biggest responsability was for t he greek government. Well at least that is my opinion on the subject.

@Andronichuk Bear british not every greek was like this. the majority of greeks used to work from 700 - 1000 euro a month(is less now), people with degrees and more. with the money that greece borrowed lots partied here but not everyone. Also many from europe like Leading UK pharmaceutical firms, by making deals under the table with the ministry of health and sell the medicines even 100 more times more expensive than the uk. not their fault as our corrupted politicians let that happen.

I'm a Greek. We suffer because of the "Markets" grid and our gverment's decision to work for them and not for the people. How can you beliieve what you are told by the media? They focus on one or two unfair exceptions (more money to get to work on time etc, people here knew nothing of the kind) to turn you against us. I hope they wont take the money. And I hope the nations of this continent will stop argueing. I really believe that the greece politics not only faked the numbers to get into EU infront of the EU comitee but also infront of the people. And yes they have siestas but can you work in 40 degrees in shade? I'd really like to see this great continent be united one day but with all this blaming and shit this will probably never happen.

Die Grieken hebben 600 miljard (onbelaste) euro's op Griekse spaarrekeningen staan. Dat worden er alleen nog maar meer, zolang het geld maar van Noord Europa middels dat EU fonds naar Griekenland wordt gestort. Allereerst horen ze de autonomie op hun spaarcenten kwijt te raken met alle corruptie die daar gaande is én met hun eigen centen hun eigen land te redden. Maar neuh... landen zoals Nederland horen hun financiële problemen op te lossen. De EU idioten varen er wel bij.

Some people in Brussels enjoy 5.000 euros/month to check economics, it's their job, however they didn't ring a bell before dept rings non-cathcable limits. Greece owe 335 bilion USD, Japan owe 7.400 bilion USD. Are Japanesse people corrupt, fraudulent and brainwashed monkeys too?
