  • LOL I'm totally in there! --- And I am just standing there... I love the "bouncing off clouds" thing tho, it's fun! :D

  • lmao! Just doesn't look right :/

  • If you watched it silently, maybe you'd assume they were jamming out to some hardcore rock group. Er.

  • Personally, I think it looks like they are heiling hitler during some parts. Or something. I don't really understand the arm waving jam to it. I love Tori amos, though, but I wouldn't really know how to dance to that kind of music. I think all that arm whipping would take away from soulfully enjoying her music. Too busy focusing on trying not to bash another person in the head. Boy, that must be tiring.

  • There are Tori fans who can dance of course, I can break it down like no other haha. However, I do admit when I saw her in Dallas this year I laughed at the absurd dancing of a few people in the front. Also, the movements here are strangely robotice!

  • @BoysForPele1989

OMG! I am going to see Tori in Philadelphia on 12/1/11. I hope people don't start dancing. Because then I'll have to dance. And I can't dance, especially to Tori Amos music. Help!!

  • lol. this time we cant even clap without tori coaching us through it. come to think of it we couldnt pull that off last tour either? damn. we are seriously white.

  • Speak for yourself, honey. Me and my chicana friends may be a marginalized part of Tori Amos fandome, but hey we can dance

  • Well, come on and be honest with yourselves. It would be sort of a lie if we did not all agree that it is sort of funny that EVERYONE is doing the SAME thing with their hands. They are not DANCING or FEELING anything but they look like a crowd of fascists or maybe a bunch of hip hop gangsta kids. I still love you Tori and I bet you would even laugh at this.

  • As a feminist this statement is problematic, because you don't know each of their individual experiences. Ability to dance does not constitue feeling, such a definition is very loaded. Within such logic only dancers have the ability to experience emotion. Also, not sure how the hip hop gangstas fits in, you must be white. I think Tori might find it funny, but she would not agree with your logic behind it.

  • pretty pathetic you would even metion this!!! the only twats are the one complaining about how people feel the music.....maybe you should find a hobby. One that doesn't constitute persecuting people being in their own space...the only loser is the one posting this video and it's desperate disciples that need someone else to belittle...

  • hilarious!~and so true!

  • If you love Tori, a show is like a religious experience. Leave us alone - we're not bothering anyone.

  • I love Tori. . that's why I was at the show with a camera. .

    It's not a religious experience though. . its a performer. . performing.

  • @imabimbo66 ..so true :)

  • This looks stupid...sorry. With all due respect Tori, I love you..but sheep they are. Looks like a high school reunion full of insecure kids.

  • Exactly most Tori fans have very oppressed pasts, and dancing requires a semblance of self esteem and confidence. Also, Just because they are all doing a similar movement does not render them sheep, although the mere visual says otherwise. They are at a Tori show. Toris socially ciritcal gaze is probably something a lot of fans relate to, displacing them from my definition of sheep, socially normative people indoctrinated in patriarchal, consummerist, capitalist culture.

  • You know, we all have opinions, that was mine about that particular group of people. If you feel like using your time to chastise me and everyone else for voicing their voice, while being really goddamned literal, that's your choice.

    Cheers.

  • @ProfessionalWidow83 you may have an opinion but opinions are not inherently feminist, like men those of sexist or racist peoples. you whether you realize it or not are making a sweeping generalization about the experiences of those doing the movements. This , in all actuality, suplants their voice with that of your own. Which is not feminist.

  • @BoysForPele1989 I didnt mean like men, i meant to say men with sexist opinions, and of course women can be sexist as well.

  • I am also a feminist had you took the time to look up some info, you might have known that. (me reading from your previous posts)

I am using LOGIC and past experience to base my judgements. I too have seen Tori live, and for me, it was a very religous experience in which I wanted to soak up the moment. Not see how in sync I could be with my peers.

My opinion. As a feminist you should appreciate our ability to have one...once again.

    Spare me, and yawn.

  • I would so dance! I haven't seen her in concert as I really started loving her after ADP..I don't care if it's Baker Baker..My @ss would be up!

  • That's not dancing, that's moving to the music. What are they supposed to do? Just stand there motionless while their backs get crushed for being still 2 hours straight?

  • @penrilfake

You do have a point there, Penrilfake:)

  • What should they do? Just stand there like statues? I agree they could do w/ out the arm waving in unison thing or whatever that is. You should just be glad you got that close to her performance. Oh yeah.

  • You can really see how horrible the lights were on this tour. All 3 venues I went to the lights were in my eyes just like this clip....idk maybe it was my seats, i was fairly close all 3 times.

  • he he heeheheheheheh

  • What's up with all the "Hail Hitler" hands? I know, I have a dirty mind :P

  • When Tori came to Seattle she said something to the effect of how nice it was to be in a town that can clap in time and how distracting it is to be in an off beat town. I guess Chicago is one of those towns? Funny, I thought they were a musical city..

  • what dancing, waving and bouncing is not dancing, what dancing are we seeing?

  • she's playing two fucking pianos at once! i <3 tori!

  • me too :)

  • Gosh, people, MOSH PIT INSTEAD. D: JUMP! JUMP!

  • drop it like it's hot hahahahah

  • Monkey see, monkey do...

  • they r so off beat its not even funny. You just kant laugh at the rhythmically (among other things) impaired. LMAO! (laughing at my own joke. i am that desparate)

  • This is hilarious! It's true - Tori Amos is amazing but her fans act like total douches.

  • haha omg that is so hillarious tori's great but fans... not so much ahaha

  • lmfao

  • I have seen people do this at a rap show once.........she's not rapping.....she's not going to drop it like its hot...lol

  • I dunno, looks more like a nazi salute than silly and cheesy to me. But I will agree, it definitely does not demonstrate any skill whatsoever.

  • Um the 'Bouncing of the Cloud dance' was meant to be silly and cheesy, not a demo of dancing skill. It's akin to the landing of the eagle during SW shows for the song Wednesday.

  • I did too hahaha :) we're cute dancing :)

  • I agree. I think its totally ok... It's cute. And it is also not true that it's "rhytmically" impaired...

  • where was this vid taken place?

bc i think i might of been their.

  • god, i swear i can dance better than these people. lol :/

  • As John Stewart would say in a high pitched voice while fiddling with his tie and letting out an uncomfortable cough...

    "embarrassing"...

  • I'm a dance major and a Tori Amos fan....

  • Haha hey now. They don't look so bad. Tori sounds wonnnnderfullll. Wish I was there right now.

  • you totally win best video form this tour

  • HEY HEY HEY Jacob I'm a Tori fan and I can DANCE MY ASS OFF...I will dance my ass off tonight to prove it! lol it's poeticjournalism btw =]

  • I think it's kinda cute. lol

  • LOOOOOOOL

    oh well

    Tori rules!

  • Oh My looks kinda of looks like something of a Nazi Kind EEEK!!!

  • Haha oh god I'm in this video. Fortunately I wasn't a part of the arm waving.

  • LOL, that's funny.

  • LOL! In the finale, when they raise their hands, it's like: Hallelujah!!! This is so damn Lol...

  • Hey, at least they're dancing to an upbeat song, unlike at other show's I've seen. (Did YOU know that I Can't See New York had a dance groove??) :P

  • i'm in that video!!! as it pans to the left, it seems that i'm the only one NOT dancing. why? because i don't really like this song. but the show still kicked ass!!

  • So cool! Thanks!
