I fucking love metal gear Solid series.. truly one of the most unique and greatest series of games of all time. Its such a pity though that Big Boss and Snake only have one true meaningful scene together.. MG1 and MG2 have none of the raw emotion or complexity in storyline in comparison to the others. Remakes are in order.. Solid snake Vs Big Boss in 3D .. EPIC. can't believe those little crappy games are still canon.. MGS1 is where it really started for the majority of people

MGS3 made me sad, but also pissed at having to kill the Boss. MGS4 just made me sad. I have never played a more emotionally involving game before, nothing will ever compare.
I love MGS but Hideo Kojima is a terrible writer. Half an hour long ending to a great series and only 3 minutes worth watching. Which is ridiculous seeing how David Hayter is an actual screenplay writer. Kojima could have easily given the script to David to rewrite it into something useful. This is terrible writing. What makes Metal Gear Solid different from many other video game franchises is that it actually features characters who are mortal and weak. Unlike other gaming legends like Mario, Mega Man, or Lara Croft, who are seemingly timeless and immortal, guys like Snake and Big Boss are very realistic human characters with flaws and weaknesses who will one day die. Very rare for a video game series.

Everything that has a start, must have its end too, and MGS4 did a very well done job to end the series, too. Even though we have the upcoming Rising, it 's not going to be a sequel, but rather, a prequel

This is the best ending of a game EVER made. I was left in tears when Big Boss saluted once more with his flashbacks rolling on. It's just THAT epic. Whoever decided on doing that is a genius.

Im So glad Mgs 2,3 And peacewalker are coming on Xbox I've Been a Mgs Fan Ever since Mgs 1 On ps1 because I was only Born when it came out but we had it when I was about 4 And i Played it all the time I can still remember playing it and the only 1 i didnt own was mgs 4 Hopefully they will bring it 2 Xbox 360

Because i'm a young'n, i started with Big Boss in MGS3....just to know he wasn't really the bad guy in the end is enough....that The Boss still lived on....is a good enough ending for me....

This is the best ending of a game EVER made. I was left in tears when Big Boss saluted once more with his flashbacks rolling on. It's just THAT epic. Whoever decided on doing that is a genius.
