I didn't enjoy the Twilight books a lot and I also didn't like the plot too much but I do think it could have been improved by doing the sort of Derek Landy, Skulduggery Pleasant style thing where you read a chapter of twilight followed by a chapter of Midnight Sun. It may have made the situation more easily understood and better..........but to be honest it is a bit unlikely.
