  • Hi~ Thank you for watching Korean Cuisine! Have a great day:)

  • do yo u use any oil when you frie bulgogi

  • Oh, you're adorable! And I love Korean food too!

  • every man's dream

  • how many servings is this.. i need to make enough for 6 people..

  • Thank you for sharing! Did you slice the beef into thin strips or whole steaks?

  • i made this tonight and it was way too sweet. i think i might just stick with cooking with dog. not that koreans eat dogs...

  • I am actually making this for my dinner' party i am having for my friends. Instead of leaving it to marinated for couple hours, I am giving it about 24hrs to 48hrs because then, it will really pick up the flavor well. I'm so excited to try it. Its my first time making it.

  • I made this for my family this last Saturday night and they LOVED it!

Thank you so very much for posting this delicious recipe!

  • This is really well set out! Easy to follow! :) Thank you!

  • WOW !!! Everyone loved this as much as the local Korean restaurant. It was Wonderful!!!

  • I always thought that Bullgogi was only grilled and I never tried to make it because it took so much time. Kamsahamnida for sharing this. I can cook bullgogi with frying pan now. You make it so easy to be understood by non-Korean like me. Thank you, once again :)

  • I made this dish with minced beef and replaced the rice wine with red wine and it was sensational. I added a table spoon of ssamjang (Korean seasoned soy bean paste). The ssamjang makes the bulgogi a little bit spicy and enhances the flavor. I also added 1 tablespoon of honey. Oh and when you buy the sesame seeds you can toast them in a dry frying pan over medium heat to release their flavor before adding them to the Bulgogi. ^_^

  • Hi~

You can use any kind of beef.I usually use sirloin beef.

normally my fiance and i would drive out of town to eat bulgogi at restaurants but after watching this video, we can make it at home and it tastes just the same!

and since my fiance is korean, i wanted to learn how to make korean food so that he can enjoy it. and he LOVES kimchi so thats next on my list to make

THANK YOU ANNA KIM, WE LOVE YOU!!

  • i sliced the beef a bit thicker!!! how much more longer wud i have to cook it for

    ??

  • YUM! ^_^

  • my mom uses a lot of garlic ahha it makes it good :]

  • my mom doesnt add alot of sugar but do we have to ad dthat much sugar lololol

  • @JrockIsTehSmex

No one's Bulgogi will be the exact same, so just because your mom doesn't add alot of sugar does not make it wrong. :D Happy Eating!

  • just wondering :)

  • what can we use instead of using cooking wine?

  • vinegar?

  • really? OK! thanks :)

  • did u put all the bulgogi in the pan at the same time

  • that's a lot of sugar...-_-"

  • Can I still make this with less sugar, no cooking wine and by substituting sesame oil with olive or vegetable oil???

  • Hi,kangstar604,

You can use either kind of soy sauce.

    Thanks for watching Korean Cuisine~~

    Have a great week:)

  • i always use soy sauce wich is a salty one is that okay?

and is that okay too if i don't put any fish sauce in kimchi and i don't put any sesame seeds and sesame oil on this bulgogi??

  • @koreancuisine sweet soya sauce or salty soya sauce?

  • does it matter which soy sauce we use? korean, chinese or japanese?!

  • it does not matter.

  • @kangstar604

Korean soy sauce differs from Chinese, Japanese, etc.. because its uniquely different though.

  • Just made this dish and it was sooo good....just like Mom used to make! Thank you for this video!

  • I tried this recipe today and it came out great! I'm not korean but i was just a good as the korean bbqs in the city. Thank you very much!

  • What is the background music? I like it but I can't remember the lyrics so I can't google it. It's driving me crazy.

Also, yay for bulgogi. That is all.

  • Its Lady Gaga - Just Dance

  • @rpberlin just dance lady gaga

  • the one she put on the fridge is thick. the one she cooked is thin slice.

  • Hi,aznthboy,

Yes,Asian Pear is an optional ingredient for the traditional recipe. You can substituted with the brown sugar.

I hope you like my recipe.

    Have a delicious day:)

  • Very nice. But wondering if the Asian Pears is an optional ingredient for the traditional Bulgogi recipe. Or was omitted because of seasonality or substituted with the brown sugar for some of that sweetness.

  • I love Korean Food!!! this is one of my favorite Dishes here Espically with lots of Rice and Kimchi... Im going to try this recipe here

  • It looks delicious!

  • I like this lady! She is very good at this!

  • i love you, alot!

  • my bulgogi tastes so sweet it almost tastes like a sweet and sour without the sour part :(

I used coke instead of sprite and probably too much dark brown sugar.

  • hey instead of pear juice use sprite it helps tenderized the meat

  • hmm...i dont know whether i should believe u or not but im not against trying that

  • or sprite zero, fewer carbs

  • would heineken work?

  • you kind of forgot the pear juice

  • Or like I normally do. I was taught by a korean old lady that it's also fine to freeze the beef a bit to make it more firm and then cut it really really thinly. I live in a country with little korean stuff, but with a good asian food selection. Is there any substitutes that can be used in the food?

  • MAAAAAAN! I WISH I WAS KOREAN! CHOW! LOOK AT THAT FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

    i'm off to k-town

  • thank you ms anna!! im so ready to cook it later!...very precise clear instructions!..though here in dubai its hard to get rice wine because i beleive its alcohol...still im making it! hehehe thansk again

  • Yumm!! I love Bulgogi! I should try making my own! my mom might think im crazzy, but she hasn't tried it yet! Thanks for the video!

  • HI!midori02,

You can get prepackaged meat from Asian Market.

I usually get meat from local meat market and have them sliced paper thin for me.

I hope you can get thin sliced meat for this recipe.

    Have a nice weekend~~

    .

  • How did you get the meat so thin? Whenever I eat at korean restaurant and order bulgogi or galbi, the meat is so thin, however I've tried to cut the meat that way and it's really hard. What kind of meat are you using?

  • that ah acient korean secret, ha ha

  • Korean restaurants will likely use a deli slicer to slice the meat thin. To get better results at home, try chilling the meat about 20-30 minutes to get it hard, so it will be easier to get thinner slices vs trying to do it when the meat is completely thawed.

It also helps to have a sharp knife.

    Happy cooking.

  • i <3 bulgogi!

    you rock

  • Hello!bundangbear,

Yes,you could use Asian pear juice in Bulgogi,

I think meat will be too~~tender and I would like to my meat is little chewy.

I usually use cooking wine and garlic and ginger for tenderizer the meat.

    Thanks for your comment~~

  • The carrot is a different ingredient. What do you think about using Asian pear (배) juice in bulgogi?

  • it works great. its just to good any way u cook it.

  • ohh hungry .,,,,,,, mmm
