I prefer TES4 but only after really heavy use of mods. My oblivion folder is like 400% of retail-version's size. TES4 is awesome only if you play it for the first time, without knowing all the exploits and imbalances etc. After that, visiting tesnexus is necessary or you end up with awareness that this game is stupid. Finishing at level 1, legit god-modes, over lv30 it actually gets worse for ur char and other stuff.

@alewis514 Indeed, everything is accomplishable at level one, but only if you don't take time to fully enjoy the game and all it's great aspects. For instance, mods. Modding was the major part of morrowind, aside from the level of depth you could go into when making a character. Plus, these... "God-Mods"... are all via Programmer modules, AKA CHEAT CODES. That, or they spent way too much time making the perfect potion. Anywho, I respect your opinion, and am just stating my own. Have a nice day!

Morrowind had 2 things that Oblivion didn't. Actually if you want to be technical, it DIDN'T have these 2 things, those were Level Scaling, and Fast Travel. These 2 features spoiled the players of Oblivion and completely fucked the game over. Not only did Oblivion have less content than Morrowind, but they even gave you safety measures and automated GPS'? What the fuck was the purpose of using those amazing graphic engines if you were going to give players a chance to skip the scenery?

Ya the fast travel ruined the roaming element (the most immersive part) of the game imo. I remember the first time I struck out from Khuul towards the Urshilaku camp, oh mannnn I got so lost. Had to DI when I almost died after my sword broke against a cliffracer. Good times, that kind of stuff didn't happen in Oblivion. Not nearly as good.

I distinctly remember flying over ghostfence with the theme playing in the background, epic. To this day one of my most memorable gaming experiences.

That was really immersive, actually having the map in my hands and figuring out where I was, where I was going and how I got there. You weren't given a compass marker to follow, you were given directions and could spend days finding your way to a quest. Best of all, was looking at the map, spotting something interesting and making you way there all of your own accord

Anything, even the worst flashes and remixes that are involved with The Elder Scrolls even in the tiniest way should be instantly worshiped for even slightly resembling the greatness of The Elder Scrolls. Oblivion kinda doesnt have that due to a pretty fleshed out map, a compass and a fast travel system.

This is very reminiscent of a MIDI file, and doesn't strike as much more than the original Morrowind theme with the isntruments changed, and a 'funk' beat thrown in at 1:15 that doesn't quite fit with the theme. The guitar thrown in doesn't really fit either, and also sounds very MIDI-ish. Overall this doesn't really stand out for me. - 4/10
