What did you breed with? If you can get a japanese (or any other international) eevee or ditto you can use masuda method to hatch, but it takes forever, About 1 in 2000.

lol I got my shiny eevee in the trophy garden with a chain of 8(pretty lucky), actually I am trying to chain more cause shiny Eevee's are very valuable considering they have a ton of evolutions. If I happen to get another i'll let you know first!

It won't ever be shiny because the stats and everything are pre-set. The only way to get it to change is by saving before reciving the egg. Then you hatch it. If it's not shiny soft reset (L+R+START+Select)and hatch it again. DO NOT save after you've gotten the egg, other wise it'll be the same each time. It's a pain but if you have a pkmn with the ability Flame Body the time will be cut in half.

no, as soon as the egg becomes "born" its pre-fitted with its stats, and what its going to look like (shiny or not) so dont waste your time :/

You know, it's a lot easier to chain them. Okay, maybe not easier, but faster. Once you learn how to chain (you should learn the hard mechanics of it if you plan on chaining), it becomes easy.

(I'm a newcomer) my experience with a shiny..... oh yeah I traded a lv 1 scizor for a lv 100 shiny miltank only to my surprise to find that it was trainer code 00000 and that all it's attacks had been pp upped so I released it!!!! Don't judge me I just don't want any experience with hacks/glitches
