  • Awesome work man!

  • ok kool but can you do this on ipod touch 3g??

  • @ninja2184 yes, i'd like to know such as well. it's such a hassle to transfer and view/use files on the itouch without wifi! android would definately be a step up in this regard.

  • when i install android on my phone, i have no multitouch. i ssh'ed in to my phone and the three zephyr2 files are there but i still don't have touch.

  • i hope this can run 100% like a real android on my 3GS!!! when is it going to be done!

  • looking good my freind.. i would have helped with some of the programing but it looks like I'm too late :(. you gotta love Linux

  • hi i have a iphone 2g and installed android on it it work boot up and everything only thing is i cant use the touch screen can u plz help

  • @alucio20 you need to get the proper zephyr files in the correct place ... you should ssh using a client and double check your file placement

    "that worked for me" =]

  • thank you:)

  • Great........

  • haha that would kick ass...a version of android custom-fitted to itouch..

how would one go about doing that anyway?

  • when i get the new iphone im gunna put the android OS on my current iPhone 3G if its publicly released by then that is

  • @jeff9559 It's been publicly released fore quite a while. They're using Git, if I'm not mistaken.

  • You are my hero.

  • :) thank you pleantbe1ng. I am so excited :D I really can't wait to have a release!!!! Quick Question.. Do android phones record video?

  • @xX666rkid666Xx Planetbe1ng*** xD sorry

  • lol now da 3gs :P

  • This project have WIN floating all around! ;D

  • dude. this is seriously freakin awesome! MORE UPDATES PLEASE!

  • really awesome, man! i can't wait to see where this all leads. who knows you'll probably develop a full Android OS for all iDevices and have Apple sh*tting themselves worrying that their OS will be replaced

  • @epiqism That will never, ever happen. Unless it became an extremely easy process, and Android performs better on the next gen iPhone.

  • @AdamKaoru well remember then geohot released the first unlock? you had to take everything apart and stuff, but look at how simple everything is now! maybe, just maybe, there will be a simple-ish software switch. you never know where these kinds of things lead

  • @epiqism in a dream world.. Personally though I'd never abandon iPhone OS. The only reason I'd ever want Android is for more open access for applications, but if I'm gonna do this I'm already jailbroken so there's not much of a point, and I certainly wouldn't use Android as a replacement when it's still not as polished as iPhone OS. Just my two cents there :P

  • @AdamKaoru true. the iphone os is really nice and easy to use. but if you can also use android os, why not be able to use that, too? that's my... hay penny :P

  • @epiqism yeah it'd be nice to dual-boot them I just think for those reasons I stated it's not going to become very popular.

  • @AdamKaoru and less than 10% of iphone users jailbreak and like half of them don't follow this kind of stuff and another 75% of those people are too lazy to actually try this, so you're gonna have MAYBE less than like 3% of iphone users dual booting (which is still a lot. maybe more like less than 2)

  • @epiqism Still more than the people who used OtherOS...

  • Awesome 3gs ploxxx =]

  • FIRST

  • @iPhonemod702 shut UP! damn noobs -_____- if you're gonna leave a comment leave a quality one
