  • PS heren you do not pernounce Her-en like Her, the e in Heren is totally different sound, however it's difficult to explain in words...

U might notice we sound a bit german, but with a big difference that maybe americans cannot hear.

If u ever come back to holland, let me know if u want some dutch lessons;)

  • lol.... yes in most public places, hotels, restaurants, bars there are like the male and female symbols/dolls painted, but yes i can see your point.

But u understand now that Damen means Lady, Woman and Heren means Gentlemen.

Lol..... great to see a video of you in The Netherlands.

Did u find Holland phlat and borring or did u enjoy the funny dutch entities or the funny dutch people?

How was your investigation and your stay in my country?

Too bad u were not over for a dutch dinner;)

  • Yup, I did the same thing myself!!!

  • if it makes you feel any better, my dad and I were in a Mexican restaurant, and instead of words they had pictures of actual people. Unfortunately it was a poor choice of picture because they were too similar, my dad mistook the female picture for a man and walked into the womans washroom instead.

Fortunately it was only a whole bridal party inside changing, so he wasn't embarrassed at all ;)
