@TheJacChannel The HD do sound better but not a big difference, the vocals are more clear. If you already have the regular then its not really worth the upgrade but if you dont go with the HD plus they look better.
@arnoldgd84 alright and one more question.... are they good for bass? cause i have a pair of $15 Skullcandy ink'd and i bought a $50 pair of Sony over the ear headphones ... and the skullcandys have better bass... it was kind of a letdown to be honest lol.. just dont want that to happen here :p
@TheJacChannel Yes the base on these are excellent. It does not sound muddy at all and doesnt drown out the vocals. Its very well balanced. You dont want too much bass when listening to music. The bass on the regular is the same as the HD's. Can't really tell the difference.

@pwm96 I would go with the Amps, its more well balanced. For me the bose is somewhat similar to the the Beats Tours. Lots of bass but it drowns out the vocals. Plus this is $40 cheaper. I would buy both then compare it. Return the the one you do not like. You might like the bose better coz they might have improved the sound quality for the newer models.

@pwm96 Yes, they are way better and cheaper. The sound on these are really crisp. The base is not overwhelming like the Dre's.
