Hi there ! this composition is very well done. But how do you get those instruments changing in some tracks. I have been trying to do in FL studio, but can't figure it out. Please can you help me.
@saumiguel1 In Sonar Piano Roll you can programming Bank/Patch changes. You just insert a Bank/Patch change point at the point you want. I don't know wheter FL know it. I suggest you look around in the Piano roll and searc something similar function.
@BonFire110 : Thanks for your prompt reply. You are right, from the piano roll view we can access patch change. But Fl studio's MIDI out plugin doesn't work that well in this case. Anyway, thanks for giving me hint.
@marktherev Obviously Edirol is not the best VSTi, but my resources (my hardwares) are finite. That's why I use Edirol instead of Eastwest Symphotic Orchestra. My CPU is not too strong.
I don't quite understand the description... Did you import a midi file and then assign an instrument to each track? And if so, did you fix the midi file to sound closer to the original or is there actually a midi file online that is correct? I would love to study closer which instrument is playing when and be able to isolate it.
This is a MIDI file that I found on the internet. It is a free downloadable file. Then I opened this file in Cakewalk Sonar7. As you can see, each single intrument belongs to a separate track. These are all MIDI tracks, there's no any audio file among them.
There are a lot of VSTi intruments you can use in Cakewalk Sonar. But Ediroll Orchestra is a perfect VSTi plug-in that built for orchestral music specifically.
that reminds me of Final Fantsy 11 on pc

@Mainboarder1 It is! Edirol's Orchestral kit has pretty great percussion samples.

@akidar104 When I did this demo I didn't have MIDI controller. Only the mouse... That is exhausting.

@BonFire110 you should look to the muting options for cymbals in the edirol orchestral help, it will help you a lot, nice work.

This is all about you must know. Unfortunately, I can't teach you for it because of my poor English. I hope you understand.
Peace ;)

Wanted to get a better understanding of what was in the song. Exactly what I've been looking for, very nice video. Thanks a lot.
