I think you guys that think Mike Mentzer was better than Ed Corney are on Drugs Ed Corney was then and even now the Best in the field of Body Building ,Question is Mike still going to the gym ? Ed Corney is still working out at Golds in Modesto Ca.
I remember Kai Greene saying that he Corney was one of his inspirations, but mike is way better. Kai is the present time best poser, but if I ever met him I'd say open your fuckin eyes and youtube Mentzer. That's why Kai's transitions could be better(still very good)but, like Corney he stops to reset after a pose and recycles transitions, but Mike is fluid and thought out with mind bending creative transitions.

ed corney could pose better than everyone else. he transitioned from one pose to another with such ease. he is the all time great. there is no better.
Hard rock might sound good on video, but it's a poor choice in real life on stage, where it typically comes across as a lot of ugly noise. Most BB contests are shoe string affairs with lousy speakers and poor acoustics.
My inspiration for working out, hard to believe that he competed up through the age of 65. Dudes been bodybuilding since the 50'sw/arnold. Hope I can look half as buff as him in my lifetime.
