Im haveing trouble trying to find out how to mach the preview in sony vegas to the event fx editors key frame time line,

When im adding effects with keyframes the video previewer doent folo it so im editing blindly. If anyone can tell me how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, you do a great job. perhaps you can reconsider using FinalCut and after effects. so that you will have bennefits for the future work place as an editor.. if you want so. it is much easier and used by a lot of companies al over the world. but keep up te good work. and once you'll be a great editor

You split the clip and add a flash before every new split. Just make sure the flash doesn't take up too much time because then it'd be just a collision of flashes. Which isn't very attractive. But it can look very good. It's all in timing (:

you can only put flashes in the in the beginning or the end of the clip, but you can always cut the clip and put it where you have cut it :D

Alright i wont say this twice if you want the flash effect you're looking for split a clip then press the across arrow until the length of it you want then split once again now what you do is go into video FX chose Mask generator click and hold alpha mask and drag it into the isolated clip however long you made it hope i helped
