We just learned about the Revolutionary War in history recently and I started crying durring class because I saw it the way it is portrayed Hetalia. America with his soldiers behind him and UK on the ground alone. Brothers torn apart... Oh maple! I'm crying again.

Incredible. This literally brought tears to my eyes. I say that on a lot of videos, but this one really did. Vic has such a beautiful voice, and the Revolutionary War scenes/pictures for Hetalia always make me so teary...

We're still siblings, so we're still friends. But we can never be as close as we were back then. Then again, we do engage in fights that includes punches and kicks.. ^^;

It's videos like this that make me feel guilty about my younger, like, 6th grade self. Because American schools teach so only our side is shown, so when I first learnt about the Revolution, I was like, wow, those Brits were jerks! But then I find Hetalia and actually study pieces of world history from all perspectives, and it makes me want to slap my teachers in the face and shout, "ENGLAND'S NOT A BAD GUY! THERE WAS JUST A LOT OF SHIT GOING DOWN ON BOTH SIDES!! Q____Q "

I'm sure each country is bias about their own history and whatnot, and I think that's dumb. We learn history so we don't repeat all the bad stuff, right? It makes me want to become a history teacher, and teach kids the right way. Older kids 'cause I'm pretty sure I'd be making random (un)intentional innuendos. "Okay class, this week we're going to be learning about Austria and his innability to stay married. He may seem posh and fancy, but deep down he's just a whore":D

Don't really get how America ages like that, but Iggy is apparently 23 while America is 19, and Iggy looked like he was about fifteen when he raised America...
