It's a measure of how memorable a movie is when you see it once and the dialogue stays with you for the rest of your life. This is a very underated film.
a good close look at the tough gritty world that's only one bad break away. study those characters and thank god, fate, chance, et al youre not one of them.....yet.
@ChrisGnosis Yes it's nathan lane. It was his second movie.
His character and the other ghosts always left an impression on me,especiially with that organ music in the background. i saw this film the other night on cable for the first time in 15 years. It's funny when you go back and watch a film you haven't seen in a long time and you recognise actors who are big stars now but were just starting out then.
The fat ugly rich slobs...
hire hard up poor people...
to protect the rich slobs interests.
What's sad...
is that the poor slobs are fucking their own by
protecting the rich.
Ha!

I saw this movie a long time ago when I was young. It stayed with me ever since. Especially the scene with Nathan Lane as a Ghost.

In part 2 I said "...is that spirit Nathan Lane"
and indeed it was. The casting for this movie is amazing

someof the dialogue makes me laugh despite the sad theme. "she'll die out here and the dogs'll eat her ass off" cmon jack lol
