what is speed hacking? how can you speed hack an MMORPG?

not 100% sure my self, Speed hackine is altering the game client/memory to make your toon move faster than intended. In ff I think this is done by forcing the frame rate higher than 30 as ff is hard coded to a 30 fps and doesn't scale movement/animation speed for higher rates.

@blackdragon122 All you have to do is is make it window (windower, not sure if game supported window mode works) and change your PC clock time to something like 12:00:00 AM, tab back to game, tab back out to clock and change it to 12:33:33, tab back to game again (this may make your character run faster) if not tab back out one more time and change it to 12:00:(leave seconds where they are) and it should work. Don't try in town and never use it. Used to work with a few other games too.
