Your coach had as big a problem with the pitch as we did. The luck factor in football adds a lot of spice to the sport. Injuries, bad refereeing, deflected balls, accidental hand balls and such things can change any match in the blink of an eye.

The coach was the problem. Normally I wouldn't blame the coach, but in this case it was just so obvious. The Croatia game, Bilic was out on the line getting soaked in his suit pumping his fist and shouting encouragement to a team playing a meaningless match, while McLaren just sat under an umbrella looking for all the world like he'd rather be anywhere else. If I was playing for England and looked to the manager for some guidance or motivation, I'd feel pretty shitty looking at him and Bilic.
