I think it would be great if they did another hands across America for the people in Japan and I know I would stand in the line I was there for the first one in 1986 with my 3 children and it would be great to do it with my grandchildren as well...
Im a volunteer firefighter in my town and the three fire districts in my town and other towns aorund us have been working together to raise money for a day of fun there gonna sponsor there own fair and its gonna be a patriotic theme for the fair. I can't wait to actually see it start.

We, as a nation should come together as one, once again, to give our nation support towards the fight against homelessness and hunger within our families here in our nation, who are or once were living in poverty and welfare, who have or had no money for food or to pay monthly bills for a roof they could be living under.
this year marks the 25th anniversary of this event come May 25th...I think this song should be issued as a special edition video/ song release to itunes and stores love this song and so underrated next to We Are The World , Voices That Care.. This song is awesom and so was this event.
May 25th 1986 .... what a great day in history also 20 years later in 2006 they named the season 5 american idol winner that night. also come May 25th 2011 will mark 25 years since this event.. they should just re release the video and the song on itunes to commemorate this event.

What they should do is get off their butts and come up with an idea of their own, but I think that is asking way too much of the Little Wayne/Hannah Montana generation. Well, maybe they can go buy some talent from ebay.

I still have my t-shirt. My baby girl was born on May 1st, 1986 - the two events are inextricably linked. Wonderful memories.
