Firstly, I am a first time independent film maker, so there's no way I could just give it away for free. I have costs that I need to pay back. And considering the wide and rampant support I've received from the hacker community, it doesn't look like anyone minds the small charge since I am spreading the good name of Hacker. I've given discounts & holiday specials and once I've made back enough costs, will be donating to the Hacker Foundation. Also, film length does not equal quality.

I filmed it at DefCon and ToorCon but the doc isnt about just the cons, though it will discuss that. its meant to be a portrait of the community from the community's perspective but aimed at average america who thinks that all hackers are trying to take over the world.
