  • This is wonderful.. thankyou for sharing your video. Please see my latest video of my nine week old Chow x Rottweiler pup eating raw chicken bones.. he is doing very well. I haven't given beef ribs yet, but was considering it.. the marrow is good in those bones, right? Any probs with them crunching up beef ribs?

  • @thedriftmc - beef ribs are fine, but my dog has a problem digesting beef bones. i think maybe they are too thick and hard for his stomach to digest easily. sometimes he throws up a chunk of bone if he ate too much. the marrow is great though. sometimes when i see that my dog has given up on chewing, i will dig out the marrow and give it to him as a treat.

  • nice dog :)

  • THIS IS HORRIBLE FOR YER DOG, lol jk but his has to be the only video without the dog chewing as much

  • what a beautiful dog

he eats with such grace lol

  • so, is it safer to just give them maybe chicken bone along with the beef? i'm starting this tomorrow. also, with chicken, do u have to freeze the meat first, or do u just give it to them from the store or fridge?

  • @MrAnthony78666 - raw chicken bone with raw beef bones are fine.. we started our dog's first raw meal with a raw chicken drumstick. at first he didnt think it was food and kept playing around with it. then he realized it was delicious and the rest is history. as far as freezing the meat; we do this to make sure we can kill off any bacteria. we store the meat in the freezer for a couple days, then thaw it out the day we are planning to feed. goodluck

  • @H15A5H1 thanx very much...

  • does he finish the bone too?

  • @ihatewonders - he finishes about 90% of the bone. usually i take it away because i dont want to leave it with him unsupervised. one time i left him with it, and the shank got stuck behind his lower canines because of its "O

" shape. so definitely supervision would be recommended!

  • My German Sheppard gets well nasty when i give it raw meat, she never bites! she just growls:D

  • @ponies123456 - you need to address that. thats unacceptable behavior. he should not growl or show any type of aggression toward u for any reason.
