Looked like a great attempt to me.... I have entered the D-W 6 times.... finished 3 of those (all senior doubles) and know the emotions of both finishing and pulling out. Your kayak was very heavy being a non-racing one and hauling this around portages would have put tremendous strain on your wrists etc..... In regard to performance it would have been v stable but also slow compared to a K1. As always well done to the unsung heroes/heroines - the support crew
Finished DW about 8 hours ago for the first time. I am fairly tired... What a way to spend Easter.

A few questions.
Would it have been better if you were bigger and stronger then maybe your arm would not have played up.
You did very well all the same and I have it all to come in a month from now.
