@zonyc7194 What you don't know of the 80's was the bad news. Cell phones hardly existed. We were worried about the USSR nuking us, AND our games had really bad graphics, even if we thought they were good. BUT, back then things had STYLE! We were radical, and not surprising, "radical!" was a common expression for something neat, cool, beast, bad-ass, awesome.. or whatever. Then the 90's came and ruined it all.

Jobs were more plentiful and not being outsourced. The Berlin wall came down, the Cold War ended, there was more good to the 80's than bad.

I watched them film a couple of weekends at my old high schools, Van Tech and Gladstone. Lotsa screaming girls. I met Dustin Nguyen once while he was filming an episode of Highlander. Well, it was more like Me, "Hey! Howzzit goin'?" Him, "Not bad. You?" Me, "Not bad." The End. LOL!

(More proof Hollyweird needs fresh brains.) but a TV remake would divide the fans.(And prove that TV writers also need some fresh brains.) The show was great for it's day, but not today. I loved this show and would hate to see it bastardized. I'll probably see the movie at 2 am 5 years from now though. :)

The COOLEST cop show, that brought us the GREATEST actor of ALL time... Johnny Depp. No other actor is as versatile as Johnny... who can adapt to ANY role. Love this show... still remember seeing this intro in 1990, like it was yesterday. Love the shot of Johnny drag racing the 67-68 Mustang fastback(like the one in Bullit).
