  • Very nice! Your already good videos keep getting better and better

  • @Luvforoneanother

    Thanks!

  • Good vid!!!!

I admire very much the importance of nature in cities. This video is an example of the good town planning in the cities (USA)..

  • @CAMINOANDALUZ

    Thanks.

Yeah, alot of the older cities and the newer ones value the beauty of trees and nature. Except with all of these new subdivision popping up.

  • Hah, NC tag at 4:30! lol The MARTA station at 7:14 is desperately in need of a renovation. Thanks for the tour! I always enjoy 'riding' along with you haha.

  • @CosmoPhotography

4:30 - Didn't notice that upon first glance.

    7:14 - Yeah, i does. It was opened June 30, 1979.

You're welcome, and thanks for coming a long. ;-)

  • 2:52 Always neat to drive under a train lol. Put's a nice touch to the video.

  • @WickedWings07

    Oh, yeah, always neat.

Thanks, I'm glad that it did.

  • This looks like a nice, green area. Love those big trees. An interesting drive with lots to see. Lucky to capture that train crossing the road bridge! Nice to see people walking about, too.

  • @localdriver

Indeed very lucky to capture the train. Don't get a chance to capture too many on video.

  • 6:20 that's a nice stretch of road. Cool vid B.

  • @04smallmj

Yeah, it's an old, nice wooded neighborhood.

  • A lot of driveway access. It's a PITA if you drive on the right lane.

  • @aswchris

Really, it's a PITA (I like how you abbreviated that) to drive in either lane with numerous driveway access. The reason being a lot of commercial areas have the double left turn lane, which drivers use to merge into traffic. So, you have to move in an out of either lane all of the time, if its four through lanes (two either direction) and double left turn lane.

  • liked your music selection here , it was quite nice . enjoyed the ride .. btw loved the frontage road in the begining

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2

    Thanks, man.

There are two other frontage road (C/D roads) systems in Metro Atlanta: the one on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard/S.R. 141, between I-285 and just south of Peachtree Parkway; and on I-85 between Georgia 316 and Old Peachtree Road (not apart of Peachtree Street in Atlanta).

It's cool how GDOT incorporated the Texas U-turn into the mix.

  • Ur house music gave me a much needed workout! Great Video, man. Thanks UB

  • @uptownbronze

Glad to give you a workout. :-)

    Thanks, Joe.

  • nice bryant

  • @15native

    Thanks.

  • Such a great video, a prime example of those seemingly endless commercial stretches in Georgia. Just a question, why are all of the traffic lights in Georgia on a wire vs a steel pole?

  • @FreewayTitan

There are some newer traffic light installations that have the mast arms (steel pole), but it's not that many. Like you said, most of the wire installations that I've seen are wire installations. I prefer the mast arm installations, because they don't waft in the wind.

  • @FreewayTitan

Forgot to say it early, Max... but thanks.

  • Man, I miss GA roads....elevation changes and turns! Gonna be moving up in few weeks...can't wait.

  • @mikeyducati

Yeah, nothing like Georgia roads. Always an adventure.

  • Clairmont road is a very nice drive, went to HS in this area, know it very well. Good job.

  • @Freewayjim

Yeah, it's a pretty cool drive. Haven't been through Downtown Decatur in awhile. An ample reason to do a drive-through.
