Though I agree that a nine-darter is a nine-darter (however you get it), surely the ultimate is to get one containing a 170 finish. You'd be mad to try it in a tournament - it means, among other things, getting a double on the sixth dart - but how about 60, 60, 60, 60, 57 (T19), 34 (D17), 60, 60, and bull?

actually that technique is MUCH easier than 180 180 141... this one is possible for beginners...

180 180 141 is a lot easier than 167 167 167 due to the fact that you have markers. Absolutely no markers in a 167 167 167 finish.

Personally I like the idea of 180 151 (D20 T20 T17) and take out the 170. Classiest way to take out a 9 darter.

Ooo or the 'double in' game 160 180 161 finish, there's a Co Stompe video of that against Scholten floating around on here some way.

excellent thinking of a way to throw a 9 darter mate. never thought of that way. i have thrown two in my life and 1 of the 1st in New Zealand to get 1 aswell and have gotten 20000 for each of them. but very good thinking.
