When James Taylor played at the Warner Theatre in Erie, no one talked. During every song you could hear a pin drop. Of course, one time in-between songs, some guy yelled out... (in some kind of a hillbilly accent)

"THANK GOD FOR JAMES TAYLOR!" Everyone laughed and James looks over and says ... "well, ahh, thank you for that!"

I agree about the distractions during this concert but James can write and sing songs like NOBODY'S business!! Don't let the few detract from how unbelievably good James is and has been for all these years.

I was at the concert in Charlotte too! It was a FABULOUS show! Although there were a few attendees that made me feel it was time to "thin the herd." Why do people feel that just because they paid for the seat... that it is sitting in their own living room?

Saw him yesterday in Charlotte. He was great, but there were rude people around: talking, complaining, and standing (at inappropriate times Grrr...)

Yes, Chastain can be a difficult venue to see a concert (or tape one!), with people chatting and eating and moving about. But you're right, JT always puts on a great show, no matter what. Glad you had a good time!

the same thing happened to me when i played this tune in one of my gigs... people just can't stop taking... i think they were listening though ...
