They did a whole bunch of different actors as Tarzan, Hercules, Superman, Batman, Robin Hood, Sinbad, James Bond, Wyatt Earp, etc. in movies.So they can replace the actors if they need to, regardless of who the actor is though they need to do it right.

Not True! The director quit because the script sucked. Then Tobey quit becase he didnt want to be part of a movie with a bad script. He also thought going back to high school was lame. I have been following this since the director quit. Sony later made a statement saying the decided to go with a new cast and director. Sony is trying to cover their ass. I saw nothing wrong with ANY of the spiderman movies. And no, I haven't read any of the spiderman comics either. I didn't like Tobey Macguire as Spiderman in the first one, but the second Spiderman movie changed my perception of him...I think he's great. Whoever made the first three Spiderman movies know what they are doing and should strongly NOT consider doing a reboot. And yes I liked Spiderman 3, and if you disagree, FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
