If you want it to stop repeating, you shouldnt add a note to the 1st measure (Song squence wise).

Hahaha nice try! but no it is not fake, I can make a video of me showing all patterns seperated, if you want. You think it's fake because it doesn't loop? well that's because I had a spare pattern slot and I used it as a silence for the end so I would not loop again before I closed the DS. Do I still have to prove that with a video?

Sounds as a good idea, most of them are very short and just looped over and over again so there should be no problems in terms of the limited amount of patterns. I think I'm going to try and make the "Route 10"-tune, it reminds me when I was walking the route where the pokemon daycare is, good times :). My DS is charging at the moment,, hopefully I can try something this evening.

yes it is, although it took some time to find it in the shops, most of them don't have this "game". I had to look in a row of DS titles for one with the name Korg DS-10 Synthesizer instead of just looking for the picture on the box. But you should be able to find it somewhere!

What do you mean? You mean how did I make this song with only 16 patterns? Well most of the patterns are used twice or more, just because in the Mario Theme most of the melody is played twice so I can use the patterns for more than 1 time. I didn't even use all of them!

I ran into the same problem for Zelda, but i programmed it on two distinct files, and merged them together on my pc. Then i added some guitar, ukulele and soft drums.

I checked you're blog for Zelda, it really sounds great with the guitar, I will checck out your other videos too. I'm experimenting with recording to my laptop, besides the korg DS-10 I also have the Korg MS2000B and an old Yamaha PSR-530 so I could use them too for my music.

Thanks, it wasn't that hard to make, I can play the song on piano, the bassline was a bit harder, took some more time. I will try some more songs tomorrow, maybe zelda, metroid, tetris or the popcorn song,...
