LOL this was a funny eppy! Can't wait for a Nikki Heat encore in season 4. Btw it's eppy 8 already and I don't think we've heard about what happened to the movie filmed in season 3, the book Castle's currently working on-if he's working on one at all-or just any kind of follow up on Castle's writing career. Although I'm still loving season 4, somehow I just think that things have been moving too slow and "safe". And yet this should be the season where things really "Heat" up (pun intended!)

Okay I have no clue on ranks in the police dept,but Kate does a lot of ordering around of Rayn and Esposito..but aren't they all three detectives? Is there some type of ranking system to the term detective that makes her higher than them even if all three are called 'detective'?
@rtds9fan I think there are grades of detectives; first grade, second grade, third grade. Maybe she's first or second grade and they're second or third?
