  • Absolutely beautiful! Praise the Lord and thanks for posting! I love it! May I attach the same or similar hymns (sung in Chinese) as responses to this wonderful hymn? Greetings from Hong Kong, China!

  • Who is singing this crap?

  • Well done, bravo!

  • RIP to the Native Americans we slaughtered shortly afterwards...

  • @waterman1976 I believe that the first Thanksgiving was in celebration of a successful massacre of many Indian women and children.

  • nice

  • Happy thanksgiving too all!

  • just what i was looking for to post on my facebook page on thanksgiving day <3 THANK YOU !!!

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!! :)

  • 3 lovely Protestant hymns actually for Thanksgiving and well sung. I posted this to FB & hope to sing one at the table Thursday.

  • Do you know what group is singing this version? Is it the Mormon Tabernacle?

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Tonight (November 21), I attended a Thanksgiving service at a local Baptist Church. We sang this as the Hymn of the Day (or evening). We Gather Together, that is. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

  • I thank the Lord that Thanksgiving is coming

  • very nice

  • Beautiful, I really enjoyed these hymns...Thank You!

  • Thank you for posting this - I haven't heard most of these since I was a child (and that's a long time gone. We used to learn them in school - my daughter has never heard them. Thanks again!

  • i love this song

  • Pity about the tares, though. )-:

  • Thank You and I hope each of your turkey week was full of fun, family, friends, faith and of course food!

  • Hug someone today, smile...

  • Lovely. All of those hymns selected are perfect for Thanksgiving but we should be mindful of gratefulness for our blessings every day in addition to Thanksgiving.

  • This is really beautiful! I put it on all of my FB friends and families pages...

  • So many who thought America could win wars and prosper without our help from God have now learned our nation is doomed without God.

  • The wicked oppressing NOW CEASE from distressing... God the Creator is OUR God... ordaining maintaining His Kingdom... amen! The fight we were winning from the beginning! Give His angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast!

  • Nice selectiosn and nice performance. However, 2 misspelled words in lyrics"

    "oppressing," not "opressing"

    "Divine" not "devine."

  • @celunion 'selections' not 'selectiosn"

  • This sounds like The Discovery Singers from the "Day of Discovery" TV show. Does anyone know if it is? I am looking for more Thanksgiving music and would like this style.

  • This is a great arrangement! Does anyone know where one can get a printed copy of the music, or who arranged it?

  • The book Hymns and wedding music for all harps by Sylvia Woods has the song We Gather Together Prayer of Thanksgiving.

  • THANK YOU

  • From "For the beauty of the earth..." to "This our hymn of grateful praise.

" is in little women!! XxX

  • I find that this hymn is always over done and people miss the simplisity of the song but this is a perfect blend of soprano and tenner. i realy like this version well done

  • Thank you: )I enjoyed this vid very much!! Happy Thanksgiving...God bless.

  • This choir team can sing really good Christmas songs I'm sure because they have the voice for it. This is the first Thanksgiving song I heard. =o)

  • what's the title to the one that says 'lord of all to the we raise'?

because there's a song called 'for the beauty of the earth' that has the same lyrics but it's got a different melody. what is this one called?

  • Very nice medley!

    Bleesings from Argentina!

    Walter

  • The mormon church calls this song "Prayer of Thanksgiving"

  • there are some words like "ye" that are not English. which language is that? and what is the meaning of ye?

  • G'day allmychildrentvshow :o)

'Ye' is the old English (from the Middle Ages) way of writing 'the'. The way English is written and spoken has changed considerably over the centuries, (and it is still changing!)

  • actually in the old english "ye" meant "you" in 1611 when the bible was translated in english that was the word that was used.

  • This is true, but the "Y" was a form of the letter thorn, Þ, which stood for the "th" sound and is still used in modern Icelandic. Printers who could not reproduce Þ would substitute a "Y" and later "th." "Ye" meaning "the" was pronounced "the," whereas "ye" meaning "you" was pronounced "ye."

  • Beautiful!
