  • Chimbinhaaaaa...hahahahaha

    impressionante.

  • chimbinhaaaaaaa...hahahahaha

  • Do a video tutorial on this one..

  • @kaikadeh I will do a video of the whole thing when I solve some video compatibility problems I have.

I got the tabs from Oziel Zinho’s website, but can see he has changed it.

If you want, I can send you the GuitarPro files, I downloaded on the song (.gp4 or .gp5).

  • haha...great play

  • Sounds pretty good...How long have you been

    playing guitar sir?

  • great man...nothing better to learn with clean sound,we can ear every single notes...

  • nice...=)

  • Nice and clean my friend.

  • wow ur good

  • Damn good pops! KEEP PLAYING!

  • wow good

  • go ol' POPS you ROCK!!!

  • oh man you really sound clean and sweet.. you may try the flamenco, like paco de lucia or raimundo amador.

  • play sweeps one note at a time

  • Very Nice Man !!!

  • lovely playing man!

  • wooaaaah dude slow down thas too fast, ur using too much distortion tho!! those sweeps r like michael angelo!! amazing

  • distortion? "...Again this should have been played with distortion, but I still don't have a good distortion tone, so I did it with clear tone..."

    click more info..

  • I do respect a good guitar player but if you have to edit your videos (see 20:00) to make it sound good, then you will without a doubt go without my respect.

  • toka pakarakas!

  • Wow what a technique!

I must say. So very very clean.

But, for it to sound as good as it can, you'll need distortion. Just get a pedal of some kind, you will sound just insane :)

  • nice clean tone but u have to play that with distortion.

keep working on it so that your movements become smoother

  • some distortion if possible

  • Thanks a lot.

I wish I could claim this as my own composition, but you can see in the title and my initial comment where the piece comes from. That said, I do a few improvisations now and then, which may be in future videos.

I now can play the whole song somewhat decently, but just don't have time for the recording process ... yet.

  • Very good! :-)

  • You are on the right track, but too few iterations give too large an error.

    Here is an analytical approach:

Let's say I am X years old and as mentioned I next year will be 1.72% older, this means that:

    X*1.0172 = x+1 => 1.0172 = 1+1/x =>

    1/x = 0.0172 => X ~ 58

It's interesting to note, that the reciprocal of your age is the fraction you get older next year.

  • borracho

  • good bro :)

  • GREAT tone! Love it! Great playing as well!

  • Thanks

  • yeah your a good guitar player :D how old are you and for how long have you been playing? :p

  • How old? I have stopped counting, but at my next B-day I'll only get ~1.72% older 

I played from 1965-75, didn't touch a guitar for 30 + years and started early 07 to play again ... very frustrating since I had lost all the guitar specific dexterity.

  • ok, thats cool man :p

  • Thanks for the comment.

I think I am there now (with distortion), but haven't had time to post anything for awhile.

  • I too am working on the rolling my fingers to cover bothed notes... by the way...you got some great guitars.... and soud great too... 5 stars

  • Thanks, I am actually looking for a cheaper practice guitar to "wear down" and am considering an Epiphone LP Ultra II.

Sweeps can be a bit difficult in the beginning trying to pick every note.

  • Oh man, you are a great guitar player, well done liked it, 5 stars

  • Thanks a lot.

  • very nice ~~~~~~ i like~!

  • Thanks for your comment and subscription Keng. When I eventually find a good tone and adequate free time, I'll post the whole song.

  • Hey man, sounds nice. Only advice I could give you (I'm not that great at sweeping myself, so I might not be the best person to get advice from), since you're on a clean tone, you can get away with keeping your pointer barred and raking the strings will make a less audible noise. When you add distortion that's gonna be a hard habit to break, so I recommend "rolling" your fingers more. Other than that, sounds great, nice technique. ;]

  • Very observant and you are right ... sort of.

I just got a "noise box" (Line-6 DM4) and most distortions sound only tolerable, when playing one note at a time, so I actually changed my technique to accommodate that, but there actually are distortion settings where the loudest note almost mutes the others, which actually makes it easier to play than a clean tone. However I am still not happy with any of the distortion tones I can get so far, so I have more experimentation to do.

  • OK, well done. Now practise timing, intonation, vibrato and phrasing and work a little on your sound and it will sound great.

  • Thanks for the evaluation.

Well, I consider timing, intonation, vibrato, phrasing and sound to be "a bene placido" for this segment :)

Or said more directly, I don't mind "do this do that" advice as long as it is specific and comes from somebody with a proven competency in the field.

That said, I do like your edited drum -- piano video though, very creative and actually sounds quite good too.

  • Hey that's some great clean picking. It takes much more talent to pull of arpeggios in clean than it does with high gain.

  • Thanks a lot.

  • You're welcome. I meant "pull off" lol.

  • you got a lovely clean sound coming out of that guitar ;)

your never to old to rock out

I will be doin that kinda stuff wen im in an old peoples home

  • Thanks.

As I am sure you know, at the age of 92 Les Paul still performs (in Iridium Jazz Club in New York), so no reason to be thinking about age.

  • Thanks.

Keeping the sweeps even for the main theme is even more difficult. However background music does help on this too.

  • wo~~nice job!!

  • Thanks again.

I only see one vid on your channel, hint hint :)

  • heh I've no vids But I know EXACTLY what that is.

    Ozielzinho - Cross

  • Well done and you are EXACTLY right. Phew, I was getting a little nervous that it was unrecognizable.

I owe you 5 stars. Just remind me if/when you get a video and I'll be there.

Oziel Zinhio (or Finho) is an amazingly good player and I like his compositions very much too.

  • wow your really good, try it with more distortion, i didnt know the older generation could rock

  • Thanks, so you haven't heard of a band called "The Rolling Stones"? Just teasing.

When I eventually record the whole song some (maybe all) will be with distortion.

  • very cool Video! sounds awesome ) 5 out of 5 from me !

  • Thanks for the comment and rating.

I like your videos and am viewing them from time to time.

  • love your work a lot!

  • Cool sweeps...

I read "about this video" and got NO idea of which song is that... anyway...

Prize without a quiz for you...

    Bye!
